This place is a DUMP!! So disgusting! Went there for the first time and won't ever come back.

Mini-golf course had SO much dirt and debris all over it, we had to brush sticks, leaves, and mulch off every green in order to have a decent prayer at hitting a putt. "Flower beds" were barren or had dead plants. At best, there were a few marigolds here and there. The water features had brownish, cloudy, disgusting water that stunk and had tadpoles in them. Definitely NOT hooked up to any sort of filtration whatsoever. Looked like the entire course was vacant for months. To top it off, we saw a dead baby bird on one of the greens that was obviously lying there for several days 🤢

Now for the water park. Before I begin, it was OPENING DAY!! The place should be pristine because it hasn't been used, right? Nope! More grossness. Water only 30" deep in the lazy river and it was so dirty and cloudy you couldn't even see the bottom. Random debris, dirt, leaves, sticks, grass, and God knows what else accompanied us on our lazy, bacteria infested journey. The "Wave Pool" was the same way. Not as cloudy, but littered with crud floating in it. The term "wave" is used loosely... They should call it a "ripple pool". The locker rooms are gross, so make sure you wear shoes and I wouldn't set anything on the floor if you don't have to. The only private place to change clothes is a couple SUPER SMALL bathroom stalls. Oh! That reminds me.... the handicap stall doesn't even latch! The door can just swing open! The men's locker room was gross, and my wife said the women's was even worse.

Bird poop covered every surface everywhere we went, concessions tables included. Never in my life have I been to a water park where you have to bring your own towels, so you better bring some because they don't have any, and that's not mentioned on their website. We had to buy some from the gift shop. The digital locker system was offline. The "Big Wheel" was (ferris wheel) was not running the entire day. They also advertise Tradewinds Pub & Eatery on tje website. This is not an "on site" restaurant, but more like a 10 minute walk, or just drive there.

As for any pros... The staff was very nice, so I'll give them that. The "Paratrooper" ride was the cleanest thing in the whole place. Because of the friendly staff, 2 stars instead of just 1.

There is absolutely ZERO excuses for how gross and dirty this place is, especially on...

The bathhouse is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Used tampons were on most of the bathroom stall floors in the women's room, they're incredibly slippery, and only has two working showers. Plus, the walls are covered with dead bugs and spiderwebs. My husband said there's no place to hang a towel by the showers in the men's room and the bench is on the other side of the room, and it was also covered with dead bugs and spiderwebs. We arrived as soon as the park opened and the bathroom floors were dirty, so clearly they hadn't been cleaned. I've been to small beaches that have better restrooms/bathhouses than this! The pizzeria bathrooms were much cleaner, but unfortunately they don't have showers. Also, it's very expensive, even if you go on a discount day. Also, combining the dads/grandparents day with the military discount day insures that any dad who served doesn't get a military discount because the dad discount is cheaper. The only people who would get the discounts on Thursdays would be men without children or women who served in the military. Would it hurt to do a military discount every day, or on a different day? They deserve it. The Bermuda Triangle (which has three very tall slides) only has a lifeguard at the very top slide. Green buttons light up on the middle slide to tell you when to go and there's nothing on the lowest slide to tell you when to go. They need lifeguards at every slide. The yellow and purple slides have one life guard for both. The blond male life guard was more concerned with how his hair looked than doing his job. He wasn't paying attention, kept playing with his hair, and was on his phone the whole time. Also the park says no coolers or outdoor food, but that's a joke. Numerous people had backpacks or wagons and had food and drinks stashed in them. It's also supposed to be a family friendly park with no thongs, yet several women were wearing them. My children didn't need to be exposed to that. On the upside, the lazy river was fun, and they had lifeguards spread out along the entire path. They also had plenty of tubes, so anyone who wanted to ride the river could. The lifeguards at the wave pool were excellent. They stopped the trouble makers immediately and did their jobs very well. Also, lockers are only $.50 per use, so that's reasonable. There were plenty of lounge chairs for anyone who wanted one, and no one bothered our bags that we left...

We made a special trip to the water park and man were we disappointed. We pull in to the second parking lot and the first thing you see is this massive pile of golf balls just piled beside the sidewalk. We go to walk into the main area and the flower beds were over grown with grass. The grass was so tall that it had gone to seed. The prices to get in was crazy really 20.95 a person no matter what age besides 2 and under. I even asked if they had a family pack but guess what nope. Ok fine my oldest is going crazy at this point to get in so we pay and enter. We go to change into our suits and a big disappointment they don't have curtains on their showers or changing stalls. Since our kids are 9,4 and 2 we figured we would sit by the kiddie pool. I go into the pool with them to really watch my youngest ones and was surprised with the amount of leaves, bugs, water balloon pieces and other floating junk in the pool. I was having so much problems trying to keep my 2 year old from putting balloons in her mouth that we decided to move to a different area over by the water slides for the little ones to swim while my oldest went with my boyfriend on the slides. Over there the area for little kids was to deep for my daughter so we moved over to the kiddie area by the wave pool only to be told that my 9 year old wasen't allowed to swim with her sibling cause she was to tall. Really i thought this was a family friendly place but shew i was proved wrong. I understand if she was old enough to go off on her own to swim but she isn't old enough yet. We spent the whole time as a family split up taking turns watching the little ones while the other with with my 9 year old to go do some of the bigger stuff. When we went to go change back into our clothes i was shocked when i took the kids suits off of them it looked like they just got done swimming in a lake. There was so much dirt leaves and other nasty stuff all over them. For having to pay $106.80 to get in for the 4 of use cause my 2 year old was free to get in was totally not worth it. Maybe if i had only teenagers it would have been better but even then with those prices I won't be back. They should take some of that money and hire someone to keep the pools clean and hire someone to keep the water balloon are picked up a little to that there isn't balloons everywhere you go. That place is a major choking hazard for small...
