Skyview Ranch — Attraction in Wooster

I had the privilege of serving at this camp for 5 weeks this summer as part of the worship band, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best Christian camps in Ohio! I was able to work closely with the camp counselors and staff, and they are phenomenal at what they do. They love these campers and truly desire to bring them closer to God by the end of the week. As such, the speakers that they bring in for the chapels are rock-solid on the Bible and desire genuine heart change that lasts long after the week is over rather than just a few nights of impulsive, emotional decisions that aren't genuine. Furthermore, the activities at Skyview are designed very intentionally, as the campers are able to learn more about teamwork and how to overcome their fears through doing things like high ropes and various trust initiatives. Beautiful setting in wooded rolling hills. Has activities for all ages with lodge and bunkhouse sleeping. Has activities such as horseback riding, fishing, pond, swimming, water slide, snow tubes, volleyball, pool, football field, hiking, shooting, tether ball, frisbee golf, baseball, basketball, painting, zip lines, plus a few others I must be forgetting. Christian youth retreat center. Amazing staff that love God. Went here for winter retreat with youth group. Great time. The food is amazing for a retreat center out in the country. I was impressed. Lot of land to explore and horseback ride on. Plenty of free parking. Way out in Ohio Amish country. Beautiful drive getting there. Paintball, human fooseball, Gaga ball, tube slides, games, multiple bunkhouses and heated shower houses. Can't wait to go back...
