I've been selling here off and on for years. I get in line a 6am. They don't let non reserve sellers in until 7:30. I'm in line early enough to get a larger space. Today a guy come last minute. Squeezes into a space next to me and parks long ways. Didn't speak alot of English. SO we needed someone to translate. He was determined to park there so with my back door open he got others to help me unload. They had no regard for my thing sell alot of old glass. Broke many pieces. 🥶I Complained because now how am I supposed to pack to leave. This is just not right. I guess you can pull up at the last minute and block someone in. Blocked buyers view of my space and my vintage things. As long as they are in the lines. Not to mention they charge you 5 extra bucks to have a larger space. About 4 weeks ago they charged me 15.00 . And was told the pandemic hit them hard. The following week it was back to 5.00. Complained. Nothing. Complained about my space today. No way to pack my truck. Because the guy next to me is on my back door. I've taken pictures hope I can post them. Older sellers. Beware. They treat you awful here. I feel like I was very taken advantage of today. Read moreCalled for over a week to no answer, finally called another company associated with them and got an answer that they were pet friendly (not true), got there and the front door says “service dogs only”, asked the front desk and they said they didn’t care, paid, got in, walked around a little bit(5 minutes) then the manager had security come tell us that they only allow one dog per person and we had to leave. I asked for the manager to come talk to me so I could tell him that “hey this is what I was told, maybe you should put something on your site”. Instead he refused to come talk to me. I’m not a Karen, I’m not even a Chicagoan, im front southern sweet TN. I would’ve been respectful but to that manager… I hope other people don’t have the time or even the want to speak to you when you have a problem. I’ll be bringing my service dogS instead (was trying to give them a break today) and if you have an issue with them being tasked trained we can gladly fill out a DOJ report with the police and see how that works out for you. To the security… thank you for being so polite and understanding. To the manager… I hope you get a flat tire on a Monday morning rush...
Read moreAs new Vendors we showed up early in the morning and waited in line to get a booth space. We got a spot from the office and proceeded to set up our booth. Almost 2 hours after the market opened in the middle of the day, management came to my booth and explained that we were in a permanent vendors spot and would have to move or they would remove us from the market. So they took our rent and proceeded to make us forfeit half of the day we would have been selling to break down and set up our booth in a different spot. Then refused to refund any of our rent. Seller rules only apply to vendors if they want. Terribly unorganized, unprofessional, and quite frankly rude, thoughtless, and unempathetic management. If you want to pay these theives to move your product around the market all day with no opportunity to actually sell it, this is the market for you. If you are in business to actually sell your product and want a space to sell it this is not the place for you, take your stuff somewhere else. This makes me want to pull my 5 other booths in 3 other swap o Rama's, until the parent company gets some sort of oversight over their...
