Great place for playing in the snow and sledding. Get a permit. Arrive early to find parking, park behind the white line so you don't block snow removal. Leave immediately if it snows and you don't have chains. Mobile communication does not catch here. There is only one place down the serpentine where you can pick up a signal. Be careful, as there are a lot of rocks under the snow, it is better to wear a helmet. I love this place, although it is fraught with...
