For years when my children were young we walked to the falls every May. They loved seeing the water fall and playing in the small stream. It is a very short walk on a (now) paved road. While it is uphill, it is not that steep. Parking can sometimes be a tough to find and you are supposed to have an adventure pass, but I've not seen anyone get a ticket (I've always had one). It can be hot in the sun and there's not a lot of shade at the falls. We always brought a snack and just enjoyed being outdoors. One year we went and it as very cold as clouds came over. Another year there was still snow all around.

You need to complete a 1.3 mile-uphill-paved trail to get to the viewpoint. 95% of the general public could make it to the end but most might need to sit down a time or two to catch their breath. It is very kid friendly. You can climb down from the viewpoint to get to the bottom of the falls, which I recommend - I believe you get the best views there. This part is still kid friendly, but not paved like the trail leading to the viewpoint.

This is a nice short hike from Manker Flat (approx. 1.4 miles) to the Fall and most of it is accessible for stroller. As getting to the San Antonio Falls the last 500 ft is not stroller friendly but can be done if you take the lower path to the Fall especially with little children. The water flow is pretty good for this time of the year and is ice cold. (August 2023). Have fun.

this place gets five stars because it is one of the only places I have seen that you can walk to an amazing waterfall within less than 5 minutes from big concrete road. I have no problem taking a long walk but this is super convenient for times that's you Do not want to take a long hike but still want to see amazing scenery. I would recommend this to anyone,. I also specifically had a great excuse there was no one else there and we got to spend a few...
