Best view of Devils Tower. We were there in early July and the yellow wild flowers (sweet clover) made for a perfect setting for a picture of Devils Tower. We did not hike the trail, but it appeared to be over grown with wild flowers.

This is the best view of devils tower in my opinion. Mostly flat and scenic meadows to walk through. The best part was we had it completely to ourselves when the standard part of the park was slammed.

A further away view of Devils Tower from the north, and a nice walk through a forest in a valley. Extremely easy loop trail though with one steep section when heading up/down the ridge.

this is a fun trail with great views of the tower as well as the opportunity to experience several different ecosystems that exist over a small area of land. i recommend doing the trail clockwise so the incline back up to the trailhead is more gradual. great signage about prairie ecology along the trail and there is a decent sized parking area. the trail also connects to the red beds trail via a trail spur that will take you to the visitor center should you have not found parking there or as a way to extend your hike a...

Great trailhead and look out away from the crowds of the base of the monument. Most people just pull up at carpark for a photo but if you do the loop you won't be disappointed. There is a seat that is on the ridge towards the start of the loop, which is under the shade of a tree and a good spot to sit and take in the...
