I love Eartha! We planned this excursion on our way down the coast and I am happy we did. We watched it turn for about 20 minutes from both the ground floor and the third floor. The mechanism is really cool! It's movement mimics Earth's rotation and revolution so you'll get a view of other places as it turns. To be clear, this is a large globe in the lobby of a workplace. It's not really a museum although there are some plaques. It's only open on weekdays til 3 because it is a real office. So keep that in mind if you visit, but it is really cool (and free) if it fits with your schedule!

Eartha is the largest rotating & revolving globe in the world! Designed by David DeLorme, CEO of the former DeLorme company, later purchased by Garmin, and built by DeLorme workers. It’s 41’ in diameter, and, despite its lightweight materials, weighs about 2.8 tons. And all of that weight is basically supported by an 8” x 20” steel cantilever. Awesome!

Who can't resist popping in to see the world's rotating globe? This was definitely worth the short diversion. Free to enter and we went around 1pm on Friday and a few others here. Cafe is also very nice with a good range of home made deli items, salads, toasted sandwiches etc. Plus great to see a wide range of the deli items were gluten free

Omg, a must see for everyone!! Free to go inside and check it out. Three stories of fantastic views! Such great fun for the whole family! And thank you again so very much for allowing me to park overnight in your parking lot so that I could get the after dark views. Beautiful! Highly, highly recommended!
