Took a jewelry class here and it was pretty expensive for what I got out of it. A lot of the class time was demos, and the teacher used her own tools and complained about what Artascope had available, and then there weren't proper tools available during open studio time to do what the teacher had taught with her own tools. Open studio time is also very limited, especially if you have a 9-5 job, and either closed early or just didn't open when it was scheduled to. The studios moved to Yarmouth the same month that I finished a 40 year career in nursing.I decided to check it out and have been spending at least a day there every week since, taking classes in painting, colored pencils, drawing, precious metal clay and working on projects in open studio time.
