This was one of our favorite stops on our drive around PR. The kids enjoyed walking around and finding murals, climbing the stairs or just contemplating art and landscape juxtaposed with some of the dilapidated buildings. We had fun wondering the streets, used the maps found on FB and QR codes there to guide our way, and googled the artist while there to learn more. We went early (10am) to enjoy cool temperatures and not much was open, which was perfect for us to really explore without crowds. By the time we left (1230), the area was getting fairly crowded and more shops were opening up. Yaucromatic is a unique concept, inspiring, and well worth a stop to uncover some of the local history, devastation from Hurricane Maria and how art inspires hope.
