This section of town was turned into a giant painters canvas by a numerous artists and the main architect of the idea and to create the macromural Samuel González. Some of these houses were damaged in Yauco after hurricane Maria hit in September 2017 and benefit from the art work and the tourists. As you can see the art work is on a hill so be prepared to some exercise. The houses are a blaze of color and really show the talent of the artists. There are also numerous murals in this area and you will find them on the sides of houses and walls... just look for them. I did not make it all the way to the top and maybe next time I will.
