Yauco Urban Park — Attraction in Yauco

I want to congratulate whoever put this park project and made it a reality. This is such a nice and beautiful park that is not left neglected like other places I’ve been to. This park should be an example for other towns to follow and to copy these projects. These parks are truly needed in our communities. I see youth playing basketball and using the skate park, this incentivizes youth to think about other activities instead of trying drugs or doing/trying other illegal activity. It's a nice and peaceful place to visit with family and friends. Great place to walk and jog. It has various workout stations. It has a small skate park, 3 basketball half courts, 2 beach volleyball courts, and a cool swing set under a historic bridge. It has a couple of playground areas for kids, a mini lake in the middle of the park which you can sit on near by benches and see the ducks and turtles swim. The lake needs maintainance though, the waters are kind of green lately. Overall, it is a good place to have fun and relax any day...

Very nice park to spend your time with family and friends. It is great to bring your kids with bikes, scooters, skates, skateboard, they even have electric scooter rentals at the entrance. My kids had a great time enjoying here on the scooters we rented. Place has ample space to enjoy on the lanes created for these activities. You can also enjoy seeing the many turtles, birds, iguanas near the pond. So beautiful as well. Shaded areas with beautiful trees and shrubs....
