My first and last visit at Yelm Indigo Urgent Care was a very bad experience. I went there at 10 a.m June 4th,2025 seeking medical attention for fainting at work due to a dizzy spell, feeling nauseous and sweating bullets.I was terrified and thought I may have had a stroke.I walked in to the clinic still obviously unstable and feeling sick. The girl took my info and told me the wait was 1-2 hours out and told me to go ahead and take a seat and she would talk to a Dr.that was almost finished with a patient. So I sat and waited and heard someone in the backroom say"I told you to monitor her"so the receptionist then came over and asked me how I was doing,I told her I wasn't feeling good at all.She went back to the computer,I guess looking at wait times and comes back over to me telling me it is about a 2 hour wait and said she didn't want me sitting there waiting and that she would text me when it was close to the time I can be seen.I left and sat in my car for a few hours, never got a text so I called still parked in parking lot and she told me again that it would be 1 possibly 2 hours more and that she would text me and let me know. At that time I was a little hungry so I drove to McDonalds and sat and ate a sandwich.Drove back to clinic and took a nap in my car killing another 2 hours.Again, never got a text so this time I walked back in to the clinic to find there had been a shift change and the girl told me she had a note to send me a text at 3p.m? Then she said they had several emergencies and it would be another hour at least.I could not believe what had just happened,I told her to take me off the list, she just rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders with a "I don't care attitude" as I walked out the door I cannot believe that my life was put in the hands of a health care system that was not available to me in a time of need. Never saw more than 3 people in that clinic at one time that day. The way I was treated in that clinic was totally unacceptable, someone needs to accept responsibility and be held accountable for this incident and my next step is to make sure that...
Read moreMade an appointment for 5:45 p.m. Got a text 8 minutes before my appointment (as I was pulling into the parking lot) that they are an hour behind and they can text when they are ready for me. I went inside and the receptionist told me she had just sent me a text and asked if wanted to wait in the lobby (there was no open seats). I politely declined and asked her to send me a text 30 minutes before I could be seen so I could arrive on time, since I live further away from town. I called at 6:45 p.m and asked if they were ready, to which she replied “we might be able to see you at 7:30”. I let her know I had my 4 month old with a babysitter for this appointment so that wouldn’t be much of an option for me, and also that I was disappointed with this inconvenience, and she said “maybe you could come in at 7 but then wait a few minutes in the lobby”, I said okay and arrived at 7. Waited in the lobby until 7:45. Got what I needed done in the end, but will not book another appointment here. I understand emergencies happen and there is priority over one situation and the next, but take away the option for appointments then if the case is “walk ins before appointments.” Would give 5 stars for the staff as they were so kind but unfortunately this was just a huge run around of inconveniences, for both me and...
Read moreWoke up early morning to my daughter vomiting w/fever and booked an urgent care visit for around 830 in the morning. We arrived, no wait time for check in the staff was friendly and accommodating. They heard my daughter had to use the bathroom, paused the check in process and showed me where the bathroom was. We returned, finished the check in process and shortly after was called back and nurse instantly gave a helping hand to help my daughter down from the chair and as they showed us to our room. Very friendly and compassionate and gave her a little stuffed animal. The PA came in again AMAZINGLY friendly, interacted with my daughter in a friendly, and slow way as to not frighten her. He diagnosed her and we were in and out of there all within 45 minutes! On our way out a nurse held open the door for us. An Amazing experience! Amazing staff!...
