Starbucks — Restaurant in Yelm

I was underwhelmed by the customer service experience. Although the weather was sunny, the staff's demeanor was not particularly welcoming. Today, I placed an order for a Horchata Shaken Espresso in a Venti cup with extra milk, a modification I have frequently requested at other Starbucks locations. Notably, another location had previously suggested altering the cup size due to my preference for three shots of coffee instead of four. Becca, the employee, seemed hesitant to accommodate my request for extra milk, citing concerns regarding inventory levels. Interestingly, other Starbucks locations have allowed me to order a Grande drink in a Venti cup with additional milk or ice. Regrettably, this experience has led me to decide not to return to...

I just wanted to add a review as we come here frequently due to my commute, and I've made it my go to Starbucks here in Yelm.

Everyone here has always been so friendly warm and personable, I never feel rushed or lacking in genuine conversation, as well as never having an incomplete or incorrect order.

Of course, now we love coming to see Yelm's "Tom Turkey" and friends; and it's very fun. But most importantly the partners here are friendly, and I see some new people are training but others seem very quick to help.

Particularly, the girl in Doug Dobbins' google photo with the dark hair(sorry I didn't get her name!) was particularly friendly and attentive during a peak time.

I love this new location. Plenty of parking. Seating outside. And the inside is very modern. Lots of seating. Chairs, with tables, bench seats. A nice offering of a different variety of starbucks merchandise and bagged coffees. They have a variety of pasteries and cold food options. The employees are super nice and attentive to the customers. The restroom was super clean. Hand washing was located outside of the toilet room, which was different. But nice and clean.
