A cute little park nestled into the Vista Del Verde community that is open to the general public. The park consists of several covered picnic benches, restrooms, an apx. 1/4 mile walking loop that surrounds a large grass area, a couple of benches with charcoal BBQ grills, several playground apparatuses, a small zipline, and a small swing set. The park has plenty of parking and it has largely been quiet and peaceful on our visits. On the downside, the park is adjacent to Lakeview Elementary and when school is in session, there is heavy traffic flowing through it. The park is nice for the surrounding community and perhaps a treat for a family looking to go to a new park, but it is not as extensive as the newly built "Playground Adventure" found just a few blocks away on...
Read moreAdventurous playground. Really cool little sections for all ages. Some things I've never seen at other Parks. Specifically a very cool slide hanging thing. It's hard to describe but the kids love it. Nice concrete walking trail around the entire park. I don't know the exact length of the trail but it's probably close to a quarter mile maybe a little bit more. It's a beautiful place to go to at sunset. My one complaint would be that the fields look like they need to be better maintained. While I don't play soccer any longer, it does look like there's a lot of holes and grass that needs to be attended to. Read moreLove this place, friendly dog walkers and pretty nice young runners. If patient, you can find a great parking spot....remember patience must tune in to your inner peace. Sports parents like to chit chat or dilly dally, while others wait patiently for parking. Nice field and terrific playground. Be visual during 8-ish in the pm hour, spotted 2 coyotes running across the street from the orange groves on hillside passing toward the side of the field by bathroom playground area. Just be visual. Have had my teenagers play and practice here for several years without any incidents. Cooler towards 6:30-ish and can take lovely sunset or...
