This place is absolutely amazing we went here over the weekend an it was incredible to see all the sculptures they have it's unbelievable how fantastic they were molded an the made into the sculptures that were made by hand an to learn about the history behind a lot of them was so fascinating an really cool to learn a piece of history behind them an hind the man Alan Cottrill who started the museum years ago and how he grew into the famous man he became around the united States by his sculpture work.. I wanna give a huge thanks to the ones who are running the historic museum now an allowing people like me an my family an many others to come in an enjoy the museum still today really appreciate all the work y'all have done an taken the time to not let it be a dieing work of art of the past .. Sculpture Art Work .. thank u so much for everything you do

Amazing stop! This gallery is a working studio with a donation recommendation to explore the artist’s sculptures. I was very engaged throughout the experience (I felt the need to share this as I often feel fatigued moseying through museums 😅) It was wonderful to read about each piece and the story that must exist for it to come to life. Not only do you see the end results but can witness the full process! Alan was working during our visit and was incredible to chat with. We left feeling very inspired by Alan’s passion for his craft. Highly recommend!

Outside the Alan Cottrill Studio there are a number of eye catching bronze statues, including a sheep on ice skates, placed in a row along the sidewalk. Inside the sculpture gallery there are numerous smaller bronzes that provide a nice museum like experience. The sculpture mounted on the corner of the studio building roof is Delaware Indian Chief Nemacolin (1715-1767).

A must see! Saw fabulous sculptures inside the studio & out, met the artist, watched him work for a while & had a good conversation about his work. The studio is a big, open warehouse-type building where you not only see the progress of a piece but wander through the second story where finished pieces are displayed. Don't miss the room with the Indians and the military items on both floors. Ask him or his staff questions about the sculptures, there are wonderful stories. Also, see some of Mr. Cottrill's work around the court house a few...
