I was so excited to see this place open I’m 2023. There are many delicious offerings from a variety of vendors- and it’s not just American fried food!

I recommend getting drinks from one, a meal from another, and dessert for another. These are all small businesses who take care of their customers. The exchange can be busy, but I’ve always had a seat and have enjoyed it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The drinks at Jupiters are great, too.

My favorite combo is a peach tea from Chapmans, a NY style gyro from the Greek place, and a cheesecake from the dessert shop. Or, you can enjoy quick to go meals from Woods. They have inexpensive specials straight from a midwestern mom’s kitchen: chili and a PB sandwich for $6, walking tacos, fried bologna, and more!

Parking can be a challenge in downtown Zanesville, but I park at the library and walk 5-7 minutes to get here. Stop here- it...

We’re so happy we found this place when we moved to the area. We have a weekly standing date at Chapman’s Coffee and the staff are always so friendly and seem happy to see us. They’re like our new hometown family.

We also have done DoorDash orders from Tacology as well as dine-in and their menu items are delicious.

The biggest downside/s to DTX have been something out of their control - 1) there were times with the winter weather that the businesses either remained closed or opened late with main lighting on but the doors locked. 2) parking could possibly become an issue during busy times in town and when vendors/customers use prolonged street parking in the street lanes themselves.

Holiday decorations were amazing and the atmosphere throughout the year cannot be beat. Always feel welcome...

I’m visiting Son and Family and they were excited to take me here. We arrived around 7 pm and the food was good. We sat in front next to ice cream shop. There were 5 to 6 young girls and small baby hanging out in ice cream shop very loud and lots of activity eating, going in and out . Changing the baby on table behind us. Totally unacceptable and not professional at all. I was going to get ice cream but not after seeing this immaturity and rowdiness. I did reach out to the Downtown exchange and they were very good to follow up with me and also get in contact of owner of ice cream bakery shop. I appreciate this and wish them much success...

Cool place to grab a bite to eat. I totally forgot to post the pictures and review. I had the Greek and it was 10/10 but they were out of fries. A gyro needs good seasoned fries. We also grabbed some backed goods. The wife and daughter had the hibachi to go place. Def brings some life to downtown. You should 100% obey the no parking signs and tow away signs. If it's not marked for downtown exchange and or on the street. You will get towed at your expense.

How wonderful for Zanesville! Lovely bar setting as well as a few eating and dessert places to choose from. Also, “Chapman’s Coffee” if coffee is desired. A very relaxed atmosphere. Outdoor sitting is available too. My favorite is “The Taste of Greece.” I love their New York style “gyros” that uses basmati rice and falafel (chicken and lamb are available too). They have a great Cook! I wholeheartedly recommend The Downtown Exchange.
