I visited the football museum while I was staying in Montevideo! It's a small, but lovely place to visit with a small collection of very old (and not that old) T-shirts, football souvenirs, posters, match tickets etc. I would recommended paying the extra fee to visit the top of the tower and take a look of Montevideo from there.

Bear in mind that the museum is small and you can see everything in detail in less...

Hoy, junto a mis hijos, emprendimos un viaje lleno de historia y emociones en el Museo del Fútbol, ubicado en nuestro querido Estadio Centenario. Desde el momento en que cruzamos la entrada, sentimos que estábamos retrocediendo en el tiempo, explorando los rincones que cuentan la historia de este deporte que tanto amamos.

Cada sala era un portal hacia momentos gloriosos: camisetas que alguna vez sintieron el sudor de leyendas, trofeos que brillan con el esfuerzo de generaciones y fotos que capturan la pasión de miles de corazones. Mientras caminábamos por esos pasillos, mis hijos escuchaban atentos las historias de hazañas épicas, imaginando cada jugada como si estuvieran ahí, en la cancha, viviendo la gloria.

El Estadio Centenario, testigo de tantas gestas deportivas, parecía susurrarnos anécdotas de campeonatos y noches memorables. Para mí, fue un privilegio ver el asombro en los ojos de mis hijos, sintiendo cómo el amor por el fútbol, ese que une generaciones, crecía en ellos con cada paso.

Hoy no solo visitamos un museo; viajamos en el tiempo, conectando con nuestra historia y fortaleciendo nuestro vínculo familiar en este templo del deporte.
