Vaulted Tomb of Aegisthus

This tomb was built centuries before Agamemnon, Klytaemnistra, Aegisthus and Orestis came to be. Nevertheless, this was named after Aegisthus, as the names of the other/older Anaxes (Kings) of Mycenae eluded the local common people who strive to attribute the monuments to figures that were easier to find in the more familiar among the surviving ancient texts. Za swoich lat świetności była to największa budowla kopułowa. Od podstaw miała wielkie bloki kamienne.
