I love this place! The people are very friendly and sincere. Despite the language barrier, the women looking after the strawberries tried to guide us on picking the berries and offered us to eat some which they had plucked. And the strawberries are super delicious - almost comparable to those I had in Japan. There is no entrance fees to look at the strawberries- but you can buy those that you plucked.
My highlight was the petting zoo. It was simple, clean, well organised and very authentic. The animals (horses, pigs, rabbits, goats, cows etc) all looked very happy and healthy - well taken care of with love. The guide was also very friendly and showed us around the place; introducing the different animals and their names and personality. Also, you get to feed the animals too - using grass and grains - instead of animal feeds. It felt really nice and was very fun! Entrance fee is required here and we were provided complimentary “animal feed”.
I definitely recommend a visit! They also have two very cute and...
Read moreI think people who complain about the price really do not understand the way the strawberries are grown. Here they use hydroponics to grow the strawberries, which requires A HUGE AMOUNT of investments and ZERO pesticides. Other farms that sell around the range 100k/kg would grow strawberries on the ground. These strawberries are certainly sprayed with pesticide because the soil and its balance system have been destroyed over long-term abuse of pesticides of the past decade. Ofc the farmers will never tell you this. If you check out other farms that use hydroponics (such as Biofresh), their strawberries are also priced at around 300k-450k/kg. I am not throwing shades on conventional farms, but it is unfair to judge a product without giving any careful thoughts. You really are what you eat, so again it is your choice ;)...
Read moreGood place to experience collecting strawberries by yourself. My very first impression is how friendly the staff are, they are willing to tell us how to collect delicious strawberries as well as where to collect them best. Secondly, they grow fresh and clean Korean and Japanese strawberries which you can eat without wash it! Moreover, the packing process also noticeable! They pack each strawberry carefully with tissue and bubble wrap into a carbon box which is the best way to protect strawberries and maintain the freshness while travelling. Because we have to walk on soil paths, I recommend avoiding wearing white clothes and collecting strawberries after rain, otherwise, you will be soaking...
