An awesome experience truly, the temple is calm and peaceful. And the cave system attachted was one if not the most amazing cave we have ever visited. Not because of its size but because of its beauty and serenity. You can likely visit it all by yourself which made the experience even better for us. There is a fee of 20k, true, but not only does this bring you lighting throughout the cave aka no flashlights needed it may also contribute to maintaining this amazing cave itself. Idk, many people seem to have gotten real fed up by the 20k charge, after expecting a free of charge visit (which technically is true for the temple, just not for the cave). For real tho, its 20k we talking, so why even be concerned with it at all. Same people probably go for Tam Cocs touristy restaurants for each meal, omega overpaying for bad pizza, but stress out over a 20k fee to pay for a well-lit, incredible cave. Then follow the road around until you come to the temple. Pay a woman 20k and then follow the steps up to the right to another temple. The entrance to the caves is through a small gate to the right side of the temple. It takes 5-10 mins to crawl through all the caves and come out above where you left you bike. My partner and I accidentally came across this place while cycling around. When we entered and decided not to pay for the cave, we left and went in a different direction from where we had come. The man there started screaming at us in Vietnamese as if we had done something terrible, demanding that we leave immediately. The woman next to him gestured that he would punch us if we didn’t go away.
