If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! From the moment we sat down in such a beautiful and tranquil surrounding away from the touristy areas of Tam Coc in the midst of nature, we were greeted with such nice and genuine smiles and a kindness that blew us away! The food was absolutely outstanding (crispy delicious veggie spring rolls, amazingly fresh grilled fish in a kind of caramelized sweet glaze and sesame, and their specialty goat meat that I was taught how to roll in rice paper with pineapple and fresh vegetables and herbs to be dipped in a tasty sauce, the freshest mango smoothies with fruits from their trees). But what made the lunch experience absolutely unforgettable were the sweet conversations we had with the owners (a kind and generous couple) and their children, who shared some of their life’s stories with us and were so proud to show us their fruit trees, among other things. We ate here twice for dinner during our Tam Coc stay. The vege spring rolls are a house speciality and highly recommended. The servings are very generous. Lovely view out over the rice fields to the mountains. Family-run place, the people couldn't be friendlier. On the first visit we didn't like our glass of red wine and even though we didn't complain they obviously noticed our unfinished glasses. What a great place. Every day we came and sat at the waters edge and enjoyed fantastic meals. This lovely family run restaurant has delicious food and very friendly service. We tried several things on the menu. The chicken with chilies and beef with chilies were delicious. But, the crown of the menu is their pho. Probably the best chicken or beef pho in Vietnam.
