We did this activity in May when the water in the waterfalls was high. We wanted to book the Devis`s pool but they only provided Angel's Pool due to safety reasons. No swimming is needed in order to reach Angel's Pool - the local guides help you reach the final spot. Be sure to take aqua shoes as your feet will feel bad. The water was very refreshing and despite being a little nervous staying on the edge of Victoria Falls, this was a great activity! Read moreUnbelievable & such a rush! You'll love it! Of course everyone knows of Devil's Pool but when the falls are really pumping & there is so much water, Devil's is closed & Angel's is open. Do it but be aware there is alot of water & the safety precautions in place are two guides with strong grips on your ankles. At no point was this concerning for me though. Be prepared to walk around in your swimwear for 15-20mins before getting in the water. You'll be taken on a short walk to various sites near the edge of the falls for different photo opportunities. The staff assisting us were amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly and were excellent at ensuring we felt safe throughout the experience!
