Greenwood — Attraction in Harare

The location is good as it is close to town and other food outlets and restaurants if you want prefer to complement the visit.

Kids play areas fantastic, great for the little ones my kids all below 8 enjoyed it there is a train ride around the park and a canoe in a shallow man made water feature. Trampolines and electronic swings. It’s also particularly tranquil if not for the loud music which was a no no for me but if you like that sort of thing then yes. All kids from babies to around 10 will have a great time.

You can bring your own food and drink but there is stalls that vendors use to sell wares Mash treats had a stall there. There also make food as well in a canteen. I don’t think they allow alcohol though.

Price is fair $7 per child and $2 for adults. Extra charge for face painting and pool and football tables all for a dollar each

Parking is generally available not marked or manned, doesn’t seem to be a dangerous location but caution is always good. Make sure to lock all doors and close all windows.

Its conveniently located and is graced by super friendly and patient staff. It looks much better now after the revamp and they've added in a few more activities to ensure your kids enjoy every moment. Off course the all time favourites like the train , boats and flying chair are still there and well maintained. You have to budget well for food as you cant be certain of pricing due to the state of our economy they are subject to change anytime. They also cater for dads with a game room which has a pool table which and video games. It's not a wasted day if you decide to go with your kids . The staff at Greenwood Park are getting drunk while on the job and it's endangering children. We've seen staff secretly pouring alcohol into soft drink bottles during the day and on Christmas Eve you could even smell the alcohol on Father Christmas's breath! He was visibly drunk, struggling to keep his eyes open, and stumbling around the grounds. Please think twice before bringing your children.
