SPAR Athienitis — Local services in Harare

Just bought a steak pie this morning, I was craving for a pie and the lady selected the pie in a suspicious way, I paid for it and when I tried one opening, it was smelling, I looked for the manager, was told he is in a meeting, a lady assisted me saying we just replaced for you but there is nothing wrong about these pies, I went with the second pie, it still was smelly , returned this pie but this time around I also made a certain lady I saw in the store to smell it again just in case I might be the one having bad taste buds and wrong smelling, indeed the meat was smelly and rotten, I wasn't happy at all, it's my first time experiencing this at five avenue,...

I have mixed feelings about this place. I love their baked goods as well as the drinks section too. They also have a great collection of spices if you were to ask me. I'm just not very happy about their staff especially the ones serving at the deli or bakery. They make you not want to ever return to that shop ever again kkkkkkkkk. I wish they could be more friendly and receptive to customers, after all its the customers who determine the success or failure...

Big, spacious and always clean. I also love their variety of products, especially the vegetables section and baked goods. Be sure to try their cheesecake.

They get four stars because sometimes their pricing is very steep for some* products which are otherwise cheaper in other shops. So shop wisely, especially if you are working with a budget.
