We were greeted by a receptionist who was very nice, but was actively coughing all over the desk and room keys. That said, she was very kind and did an excellent job helping us. We stayed in the smaller building, closer to the sea. The room was dirty and not well kept. There were stains and handprints on the walls from old guests. The ceiling had paint peeling. The air vent was moldy. The dresser was missing a door. Parts of the fake green marble laminate were missing from the walls. The sheets had make-up stains from previous guests. The comforter had a blood stain on it. The beds were uncomfortable. The power plugs were hanging from the walls with exposed wiring. The bathroom had a leaking toilet that constantly ran, so there was a pool of water on the bathroom floor the entire time, and for some reason the drain was cemented over. On top of this, the tub was dirty inside, and surrounded by mold. I felt like I needed another shower after my shower. The only bright spot of this hotel is the beachfront location and spectacular view. I'm incredibly glad I only had to spend one night here.

Très déçu de l'hôtel Syfax 2 et ses parties communes. Hôtel dans un état lamentable sachant qu'il a été inauguré en 2016, avec récupération de vieux mobilier de l'hôtel Syfax1. Insalubre, poussière et toile d'araignée et pas de nettoyage systématique et quotidien des chambres et des zones communes ou changement de serviettes pendant tt le séjour. Ce qui est étonnant pour un hôtel pied dans l'eau a vocation baignade, c'est qu'ils n'ont pas prévue dans les chambres des sèches linges, ce qui complique le séjour, surtt pour une grande famille, c'est la galère. On s'ennuie a mourir, surtout les enfants, pas d'animation dans les piscines, ni le soir, seul un agent de sécurité converti en DJ qui fait passé le soir d'anciennes chansons Kabyles pour les âgées, en boucle a l'infini. Couleur de l'eau de la Piscine couverte reste a désirer avec un danger de blessure après que la rampart entre la petite piscine des enfants et la grande a été endommagé (voir la photo). Pas de maître nageur au niveau des piscines, nous avons eu un incident ou une petite fille de 5ans c'est noyée, heureusement qu il y avait la perspicacité des personnes (clients) présent sur place. La glace vendu sur place est toujours fendue, je ne sais pas si ils eteinnent le frigo ou il ne fonctionne pas normalement. Restauration mediocre, arrivée en retard et plus crudités, frite cramé sinon pas cuite, y a la variété que le vendredi (traditionnel, couscous, recheta...), sans oublié le gardien de la viande qui sert la viande au compte goute. Ils ne prennent pas en considération les réclamations des clients ou d'éventuel améliorations. La maintenance et l'entretien périodiques sont délestés. Plusieurs familles ont abandonnées leurs séjours, bien sûr sans remboursement. Je vous invites à consulter leurs commentaires sur tripedvaseur et Google map. Je le déconseille vivement, à fuire. Point positif: la piscine extérieure très appréciable par les enfants surtt si la mer est agitée, nettoyage a remettre en cause. Et la plage pied dans l'eau réservée que pour les résidents surtt les weekends ou il y a trop de monde. Personnel sympathique d'une manière générale, et note complète pour le plagiste, très professionnel - the best.

J'y ai séjourné en août, au départ au 3*, les photos parlent d'elles mêmes, la chambre était moche, l'eau coulait du frigo, la fenêtre limite condamnée, aucun espace pour étendre son linge dans un hotel en bord de mer, d'où des odeurs de moisissure, armoire sans portes, sans ceintres...et j'en passe... Bref à refaire entièrement. Le 4* était beaucoup plus beau, plus confortable et plus propre avec un personnel plus professionnel, à croire qu'on était pas au même endroit. Il y a deux piscines, une extérieure et une intérieure. Je ne sais pas si ça se voit sur les photos mais la piscine extérieure est trop petite, plutôt digne d'une piscine familiale, la piscine intérieure par contre compense la déception de la première. La restauration : malgré que les repas étaient assez bon (déjeuner et dîner) il n'y a tout de même aucun choix, pas même entre deux plats, vous mangez le menu du jour, si vous êtes allergique ou n'aimez pas certains aliments, tant pis pour vous. Je ne parle pas du petit déjeuner, je ne me levais pas assez tôt pour du café du lait et des croissants... La plage : il fallait vraiment en trouver des chaises! Ou se lever tôt pour ! sinon on avait droit à des chaises sans pieds, restait qu'à ramasser des pieds par-ci par-là et faire du bricolage. Des transats!? Même pas en rêve. Le personnel : mis à part les réceptionnistes du 4* qui étaient accueillants et souriants, le reste du personnel était très désagréable, les serveurs particulièrement, aucune amabilité, aucune politesse, à se demander s'il leur est arrivé de sourire dans leur vie. Résumé : si vous êtes amené à y aller choisissez le 4*, surtout que la différence de prix n'est pas énorme par rapport à l'immense différence du confort et du service.

Pour commencer il faut savoir que l'endroit abrite deux hôtels, le premier censé être un 3* mais qui n'en mérite même pas une et le second un 4* qui les mérite assez bien. Les photos des deux hotels sont jointes et la différence est plus qu'apparente. my vacations in algeria has always been excellent. When i went to Skikda alone, I was surprised by the fascinating experience. Now I brought my family with me to visit other Algerian cities, and I regret going here to "Tichy". The hotel is very dull, old, dead & silent. There are around 5 workers there, which is very unprofessional. We booked a suite and it was NEVER worth the price. The bathroom was unhygienic, the beds looked so simple considering the amount of money I've spent on this room, the TV controller had bitten batteries, the floor was covered in dust, the sofa looked as if it was munched by a freaking squirrel, and again for the bathroom—there was dim lightning, no blow drier, for some other rooms there was no mirror, the vanity was peeled off and rusty, there was no towels, no toilet paper, and worst of all, when i first entered the bathroom, I checked the toilet to see URINE. The shower looked so dirty it really grossed me out that I had to take my family to public showers..and the overall place looked like a rotten, old apartment, more like a 1 star motel. I felt like I've been lied to about everything, they say that there's a spa and a jacuzzi, and when I went to see the "spa" they had, it was completely HAUNTED. and when i say that, it was a complete mess. No one was even there—no one minded that I entered the spa and looked through the place. Beds were scattered around, the floor wasn't even mopped for ages, and there was one jacuzzi that was hopefully filled–when i touched it, the water was freaking cold. I was very displeased upon seeing this. The indoor pool is okay—the water was a little warm considering that I went there on summer, it was freaking hot and it just didn't feel like a refreshing, cold pool. Another thing that the indoor pool has dirty chairs, and there was floor all around the place, along with food crumbs and gunk scattered around. The pool bathrooms were SO DIRTY, and there was some sort of gym that didn't even function. It was so noisy I couldn't take a nap, the wifi was TERRIBLE, the staff were somewhat rude but when it's about money, they start apologizing. Oh, for the buffet, NEVER worth the price. Seriously, it was the same every breakfast. Rotten croissant and smelly milk, boiled eggs that weren't even peeled (I had to peel the eggs), almost expired canned yogurt, and they RARELY serve us butter and jam. And don't get me started on the dinner buffet—a total mess. We got to make a line just to get some microwaved food, that feels like a school cafeteria, not an hotel. Everyday—the same freaking menu. The meat was smelly, all i ate was some salad and "fries" that were definitely microwaved due to having no crunch. I really felt bad for my family, I shouldn't have brought them to this place. And oh yeah? The prices? I had to pay for the beverages, even if I payed for the buffet. And also, there was an outdoor pool that looked so dirty that they needed someone to clean it up at morning due to planting trees near it. Seriously? Trees near a pool? Oh yeah, the biggest disaster: You won't sleep at night 'till about 01:30AM. The music is SO LOUD and repetitive. They kept replaying the same freaking playlist every single dinner, and at night? All you could hear is the loud music coming from the park next to the "hotel". I swear I could call this a half a star motel. Before you complain, the elevators malfunction and take ages to finally open, and when going up, they make a loud sound that gives you an unpleasant discomfort. The only thing that saved this awful "Hotel" is the view, at least we could access the beach by walking to it, though we had to search for the nearest beach for the safety flag. Overall this place looked so broken, dull and haunted—worst "vacation" EVER. Should've searched for better places. Please do not waste your money...

This is a hotel to avoid at all costs, despite its good location, that is to say next to the beach. The room we were offered has mold all over the toilet. We complained and they offered us a room that is just as unacceptable, the toilet had a strong smell of pee and the seal that holds the shower is broken. When we spoke with the reception, they argue with me that the shower seal is not broken, but, that they want to please us and change a better one. If the one in the toilet is not broken, why does she want to change it at the first place when we told them that a seal was missing for the shower. Before we told them about the missing seal, the reception offered us this new room without mentioning the seal that they want to change for us. I didn't like the receptionist arguing with the customer, because, in customer service, as in a hotel, you have to satisfy the customer, not argue with them, which is unacceptable in terms of customer service. I complained in good faith and in a proper manner. It's definitely not a hotel, but rather a lower range than hotels, meaning it's more considered a motel, because it really isn't a real hotel. If you're in Tichy, this is a hotel to avoid at all costs. I am telling the truth by what I see. You can validate my post by the multiple posts made previously which are all equally negative about this hotel!!! Regarding the guide, the fact that they returned to this hotel, after staying only one night in the hotel that I finally stayed is that your hotel allowed them to pay later, the hotel we were staying at asked them to pay before staying after the first night, as they have a problem with the post office to withdraw the required money before a day and a half, they returned to your hotel not out of desire, but, they had no choice and also, because, they know the manager in this hotel which allows them to pay later. They apologized for themselves (the guide and the travel agency) for continuing the trip with us, their client, and their apologies do not come from us.|Location: Next to the beach ⛱️|Rooms: Very poor room!!!|Atmosphere: Emptiness, because, it seems to have no clients |Value: definitely not a 4 star hotel worth |Service: Not at a standard of 4 star hotel |Cleanliness: Has mold and not clean|Amenities: Has gym, sauna, pool, but poor maintenance and seems that nobody is in when we was there...

Do not get scammed !

The price is TOO elevated for less than average rooms. One star and half is the highest rank this hotel deserves. I spent a weekend scrunching my nose from the terrible smell of cigarettes and horrible detergent. The floor was soaking wet when I got inside. Almost slipped, if I may add. The bathroom looked catastrophic, a backroom atmosphere, hygiene was out of the door, the pillowcases were full of hair, the blankets were not promising neither.

The covered pool was a disaster. At least the water was clean, I'll give them that. But I couldn't spend more than an hour from the hideous smell coming from the toilets that were just behind the pool. Oh, and let's not forget the alleged " gym " they offered which consisted of 5 broken machines that were hidden behind the said pool right besides the toilets. The only thing that was worth it was the view towards the beach.

Interactions with the staff were okay.

The food services were not worth it at all. They will bluff you with all kinds of salads to distract you from the lack of protein. It's not a buffet at all if we get served two meatballs for the night ? The breakfast was also served with very low quality products. I was only grateful for the eggs. The juice was so bad I couldn't even finish it.

The outdoor pool was great, the beach was also great. But that was all I could really enjoy.

I sure hope for the love of God that you guys avoid this hotel. Or, a better option, for the staff to REALLY take care of this hotel because it's a wasted gem. I overheard a man telling the receptionist that he was not satisfied at all. That should've been my...
