We were here a night after touring the magnificent Timgad Roman ruins and museum....within easy walking distance of the hotel. The room was quite big and comfortable enough, with free wifi for one night. There is a restaurant on site which we did not use other than for the continental breakfast (minimal) the next day. The dinner menu looked OK but we frankly were not hungry after a big lunch at a nearby restaurant. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable enough. Read moreIt was cool the day I arrived and the hotel central heating was on, so my room was too hot at first but OK by the evening. The room was huge with an equally huge and comfortable bed. Wifi was good throughout the hotel.|I ate in the restaurant both evenings of my stay, and there was a limited menu but the food was really good. Read moreThe hotel is within walking distance of the Roman site, offers unusually large comfortable rooms and friendly service. I wasn't expecting much in a remote area like Timgad, but this hotel was a very positive surprise. Everything is super clean, the bathroom as well and everything is working.
The photos in the hallways and rooms are an inspiration for upcoming destinations. It was fun to see some of my own pictures that I took 8 years ago hanging there.
