This hotel is a must do if visiting Antigua. We spent 3 weeks travelling the Island and staying in lots of different types of accommodation. We spent our last 2 nights here and what a fantastic way to go. The hotel is very small, only 7 suites in total, has a small reception, a bar and dining room. It is just stunning. You get the feel that you are in a big old mansion and you are the only people there!! We were greeted and checked in by the Hotel Manager, who was so nice and helpful. We booked a Signature Suite, which is the annex, mainly because these rooms have an outside terrace. Stunning. Lovely, comfortable, huge 4 poster bed, everything in them that you need. Lovely terrace with a table, chairs and a sun lounger. It looks exactly as it does in the photos. The lovely Housekeeper (didnt get her name) looks after the rooms with such pride and she is so very helpful should you need anything.|The food and the service at this hotel is second to none. The staff are lovely, all of them, and can't do enough for you without being in your face. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. You get a Continental Breakfast included in your booking. We thought we would be hungry...NO WAY, the breakfast is huge. I had the cold meat and cheese platter and my husband had the fruit platter, beautifully presented (again) and very fresh. Coupled with the HUGE freshly baked croissant, it sets you up for the day. WE had dinner and lunch at the hotel and both were excellent. |We would just like to say a huge thank you to ALL of the staff for making our last 2 nights,...
Read moreOur brief stay at Weatherills was incredible.
Flight issues left us with an extra day in Antigua and the moment we arrived to Weatherills the stress of travel disappeared.
The property is beautifully restored with great attention to detail. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the ac was powerful and the bathroom had all the amenities we could need.
The restaurant is amazing with gorgeous views on the wrap around porch. Our food was excellent, the shrimp scampi in particular.
In the morning, we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast and then explored the restored sugar mill that sits right on the property and has great views of the surrounding area.
If you are looking for a boutique experience with a historic feel and modern amenities, then this is the spot!
To the staff, thank you all so very much for making our extra night so special and relaxing. You were all incredibly kind and we loved getting to talk with you and learn more about...
Read moreWe stayed a few nights here , the hotel, room and grounds were beautiful, spotless, the bed especially was so soft and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and had everything in it! |The only thing we found we could pick up on was some ( not all) of the staff weren’t very friendly, we also found it difficult while eating there, the staff seem to stand near and kept watching us, they seemed abrupt and cold when speaking, they also seemed more interested in gathering together and chatting, one girl spilled tea on me and as she seemed in a rush to get off our table she didn’t even notice or look back to see if the fallen teapot had impacted her guest! |We ate as soon as the restaurant opened but on 2 occasions we noticed they didn’t have what was on the menu! The dishes were extremely expensive and in my travelling experience were very overpriced. ||ASI mentioned the grounds an hotel...
