The place is a tourist trap. It is not a Hotel or B&B but only a few rooms in the upper floor of a restaurant and souvenir shop owned by the same family. So do not expect any service or support: there is no one really employed there and the owners and the lady at breakfast speak only Spanish. I arrived around 8 pm and no one was there though I had messaged all details of flight number and time of arrival. This meant that I had to make an international call with my European mobile to seek for someone and get the keys. I have booked for 3 nights but left after the first. At checking out I met the only poor English speaking person a girl who is also employed at the local tourist office. The room I was given was described with mountain view. De facto it had only one window at road level, a gravelled road, with cars parked just in front of it. Less than 1 meter away, on the side, there are a few chimneys one of which very large, bringing the exhalations from below right to your face (I guess it is even not legal). The window had no shutters nor tent. Only a dark brown plastic sheet that you had to keep down , staying without daylight , since you probably do not want people to gaze inside. Nor you want the exhalations or the dust from the parking and passing cars... So even the the window has to stay closed. In the end no light, no air: This is your hotel while being at the seaside if you decide to stay in this place. And lady did not understand my disappointment since there was the ocean nearby, and whales....|They also have rooms overlooking the front parking place and the place with the asador (big barbecue). These have sea view. Moreover the place is incredibly loud as the restaurants below hosts eventually whole tourist groups and the music goes all day. They do not make the rooms daily, and the bathroom was more than tiny and old. I also had safety concerns considering the free wires coming out from the wall at the level of air conditioning system. At a rate around 40US$ you cans places that will make your stay a real beautiful experience. I found them within few hundred meters and I was happy to waste some money (they charge half of the amount due before you arrive) and leave this trap. Usually the level of hosts in Argentina is high, even in simple places. I’ve toured the nation and this was a really bad exception. See pics to verify...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights. We stayed in the whales room. The room was ok compared to the price (Expensive). But I think this goes for every hotel in Puerto Piramides. The bed was ok.||||The location is just perfect. With a splendid view over the bay. And a balcony to enjoy this view and the sun on good days (which we had). We even saw a whale swimming into the bay. The hostess is very friendly. Breakfast was not very special (lot of sweet cakes).||||The restaurants are nearby...
