La Covacha — Restaurant in Comuna Rural de Puerto Pirámides

Went for supper. We ordered a salad with 3 items all were fresh and tasty. Lettuce tomato and red onion. Then we had the white salmon wrapped in seaweed. This was served with a salad as well. We also ordered the biefe de chorizo and it was ok but nothing more. This was also served with a salad and vegetables with melted cheese. If the waiter had a sense of fair play he should have advised us not to have the salad to start with. All in all it was ok but not worth more than 3.5 in my opinion. It seems to be a bit more of a fish restaurant...

This is not a fancy place, and I didn't expect it to look or feel that way. It feels more like a local tavern. This was my only visit there, and I didn't order any drinks. For my dinner I ordered an item from their special menu written on a blackboard. The dish was shrimp filled ravioli with mussels and cheese sauce. The dish was OK, but the mussels were oversalted. I don't know, maybe it's done on purpose so you can order more beer, but seriously, any chef should be tasting his food before giving it...
