La Tosca Hostel — Hotel in Municipio de Puerto Madryn

La Tosca really changed my view of hostels. After this I believe I embraced them. It was such a lovely place, I had booked a dorm but I had the whole room, ie both bunks. ||||The bathroom was shared, it was basic but clean.There were 2 rooms that shared the bathroom, it was located with access from both my room and the room next door. So you have to remember to lock the door of the other room otherwise the other people can come in. A few times, the people in the other room hadn't closed the door, so you would have to remind them. But not a problem really.||||There was a communal garden outside and you could lounge around there. Very nice. You could also wash your clothes and hang them outside, there was a large sink for washing.||||The kitchen and dining area were communal and quite large. The facilities were great and you could make your own meals there. Breakfast was included, but as I've learned, most places offer white bread and sugary items for breakfast and so I began to carry my own breakfast items to supplement what the hostels have and it suits me perfectly. If you're travelling for long periods then you need to eat healthily. ||||There were parking facilities, so I could leave my car inside. There was a small charge and that was fine. The owner, I believe he was the owner, or the main guy at reception was very helpful and so I got loads of advice. ||||I also met some lovely people at this hostel and we ended up doing the swimming with sea lions from here. Se fosse pelo atendimento do Eduardo e do Lucas,daria nota máxima,mas tenho que contar a verdade.||Podem ver as minhas avaliações por mais de 300 cidades que já abdei,nunca vi o que passa aqui.||Tive que cancelar várias reservas feitas na black Friday em hotéis e só sobrou este como opção.Se eu soubesse teria cortado Madryn da minha volta pelo sul de Argentina.||Reservado na manhã da hospedagem,recebi em seguida um e mail daqui perguntando o horário da chegada e tinha um valor diferente do site de reservas.||O que?Nem eu sei o horário que chego,reserva serve para isso,poderiam cobrar a qualquer momento como falam no site.Senão,por que não pode cancelar?Busquei essa opção,não consegui e fui já contrariado com o valor MAIOR.||Cheguei quetionando esse valor,disseram que era taxa de cartão,se pagasse em dinheiro seria menos.||O que?Pagamento com cartão é mais caro?Se fosse no meu pais ou na Europa jamais aconteceria,todos usam cartão e se tentassem levavam uma bela multa.Entrei em contato com o site,confirmaram o valor e orientaram a não pagar 1 centavo a mais.||Querem cobrar mais?Taxa de cartão?Tirem do site de reservas ois lá tudo é catão,não sou bobo,nem nasci ontem.||Acomodação é muito simples,a porta de vidro coberta por uma esécie de cortina fixada por fita adesiva deixando passar a clardade,o que me deixa muito bravo.Limpeza é o dia que querem,em 5 dias trocaram toalhas de banho,que cheiram mal por não serem profissionais,1 vez.||Café da manhã tem 5 meses e consiste em muito bolo ou doce.Faltam mesas como coisas salgadas,pois ali também chegam pessoas idosas.Para mim,tudo bem.||Porém,se voltar a Madryn outra vez vou a um hotel de verdade,pois é outro público,e aqui se cobra muito por um quarto privado,mais que costumo pagar em hotel,mas não dá o mesmo conforto.||Lembrei do lugar aonde fiquei em Guadalajara ,também por falta de opção,é só ver o meu histórico,aonde cobra-se muito e não oferecem nada,coincidentemente os dois são o...

I had a great time staying at this hostel! I arrived around 9 pm and the staff were extremely welcoming. Unfortunately during my visit there was a lot of rain so many roads were closed to go see the animals. However, the man working the front desk in the morning was extremely helpful when I had a tour cancel last minute and explained to me how to get to Peninsula Valdes solo by bus.
