Hotel Piren — Hotel in Municipio de Puerto Madryn

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving us plenty of advice on where to eat and directions to places of interest.||There is free parking but you have to tell the hotel in advance that you require a space, the parking garage entrance is quite tight and has quite a large kerb on the footpath, so you have to stay towards the middle of the road when approaching the entrance, we decided it was easier to approach from the opposite side of the road.||Our room was clean with plenty of wardrobe space and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom area was a good size with separate toilet bidet room.||Breakfast was plentiful with a very good selection of cereals, pastries and hot food.||The location is perfect opposite the sea and close to all the shops and restaurants.||The hotel displays very interesting artwork by a local artist who's wife comes to the hotel in the afternoon to sell or take orders, which gives visitors from foreign countries the opportunity to purchase something unique from this area. ||As far as value for money is concerned this hotel would be...

We stayed there 3 nights on a short road trip across Patagonia. We arrived with no reservation (note that in Argentina we are struggling through the second wave of Covid 19 and tourism is very low) and we offered a very attractive discount.||Good start for a great stay. After traveling 7000 km through the Argentine and Chilean Patagonia and heading to Buenos Aires through National Route 3, we arrived at Puerto Madryn and stayed at the Pirén Hotel.||The hotel is very well located, facing the sea and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops.||Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the sea and it was quite comfortable although it was difficult to regulate the air conditioning equipment.||The bed was very comfortable, and there was enough place to accommodate our luggage.||The bathroom is divided into two parts, one closed with toilet and bidet but without any window or extraction system.
