It's a basic hotel, but it has plus points. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size, the private balconies all seem to have a view over the famous hill of 7 colours, and it has a pleasant foyer where breakfast is provided. The town is small, so location is not crucial and anywhere is within about 5 minutes walk. On the less positive side, the shower is awkward, the toilet paper wins the 'most thin and useless' prize among all those we've known on our extensive travels. The rooms have neither fridge, air con, or TV, and although the bed is king size, it's a bit on the firm side for our liking. The breakfast is slightly limited, though adequate. Don't expect anything cooked. The coffee was rocket fuel on the day we were there: that's more of an observation than a complaint. The bottom line is that it will do if you are not fussy, but it's nothing to...
Read moreThe hotel is centrally located, close to town centre. Secure free parking close to hotel. Rooms are quite spacious, beds are good, but sleeping quality is bad as there is no aircon in the rooms. Lots of mosquitos if you prefer to open the window during night. Poor breakfast, but this is quite common in Argentina.Basic rooms, no Tv, but fabulous view to the mountains right behind. Expensive for what you get. Although we understand Spanish and speak Portuguese, we found the reception rather weak and dull, difficult to communicate. The owner/manager? helped us with flat battery but when we left we were quite quite heavily charged for it. Make sure you get a proper receipt. Unfortunately we forgot it, and even though we contacted the hotel as well as booking.com, we have not heard a word from the management. Not trustworthy,...
Read moreWe were fortunate to find any place to stay and grateful that the one we did find was clean, friendly with private parking. Getting into the parking lot was a challenge in the middle of the day as the street was so crowded with cars. I had to back into the lot, I could not make the turn to go forward (and I had a small car!). Once we parked, we did not leave because the hotel was walking distance to everything in town. Common space was comfortable and our room had both an interior and exterior door. Large window did offer a mountain view but - we had to look across the parking lot as we were on the...
