Puerto Norte Design Hotel — Hotel in Rosario

I stayed at the Puerto Norte Design Hotel for four days in May 2019. My overall impression was very favourable. The reception staff were very friendly, the room was attractive and well-appointed, good food was available in the hotel's restaurants. One particularly helpful amenity was the provision of bicycles that guests could borrow, which allowed them to cycle along the extensive quays, parks really, alongside the Rio Parana. My favourite activity in Rosario was precisely doing this, chatting to ordinary Argentines along the route.||||The hotel is equipped with a gym, but it is very small. Given the limited space, I would recommend the purchase of some kettlebells that would not take up much room but would add to the satisfaction of guests interested in maintaining their physique more effectively than they can with the limited equipment currently available. The swimming-pool is as good as can be expected, but was not a great asset in autumn, when I was there.||||The hotel should try to be more generous with bottled water. A guest is only allowed one free bottle of water in his/her room during the length of his/her stay. This is remarkably stingy. In fact, I have never stayed at any other hotel in the world where I have had to pay money to brush my teeth. Puerto Norte Design Hotel is built within repurposed silos located in the old port area of Rosario, Argentina. It's a beautiful architectural achievement. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance to the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is good and dependable. The housekeeping department is great and they have daily turndown services in the early evening. The front desk arranged our airport transfers and daily taxis. Es un hotel muy lindo, con una excelente atención. Fuimos con una promo que nos permitía usar el spa, (piletas y sauna). Tiene dos piletas una exterior y una climatizada. Ambas son muy lindas, no son gigantes pero están muy bien, con vista al río. El hotel tiene muy buena decoración y es sorprendente como un silo se transformó en un hotel. En planta baja tienen un bar con acceso al público de afuera. Todo lo que probamos fue muy rico con estilo Gourmet. Tienen una hermosa barra. El barman era un poco tímido pero nos atendió bien. Tiene una zona donde en ciertos horarios podes acceder a tomar gratis café Nespresso con unas deliciosas galletitas o alfajorcitos de maicena. Con la promo que sacamos pudimos utilizad el valer parking que se encuentra en el subsuelo. El desayuno es en el quinto piso y es muy completo. La pastelería es muy rica y tiene opciones light. Las infusiones te sirven las meseras. El Quinto piso donde se puede desayunar y cenar tiene una gran vista al río (al igual que las piletas). Tuve la mala surte que el día que fuimos a cenar varias cosas no estuvieron bien. Primero que el sector donde nos ubicamos, del techo caían gotas de agua, ya que nuestra mesa estaba ubicado al lado de los ventanales y daba el ducto de ventilación. Luego mientras cenaba lamentablemente vi pasar una cucaracha (era un día de mucho calor). El tema es que la vi pasar 3 veces porque al avisar a los mozos ellos solo esperaron que el bicho pasara por la barra para matarla. Era obvio porque no iban hacer un escándalo pero fue decepcionante.
