they take reservations without pre-payment nor do they offer written email confirmations, which means you can show up and your so called reserved room may not be available!
No WIFI in rooms despite their claim, so if you plan on working or checking emails avoid this hotel. When complained about wifi they said come to the lobby or first floor as wifi signal is strong on those floors. can’t imagine how cheap they can be to not invest on wifi that works on all levels of the hotel.
If you have a child with stroller or wheel chaired vacationer, forget about vacationing here! There are about 50 stairs to go uphill without a ramp to get inside the hotel. How can any owner not invest in a ramp to get inside the hotel, do they not care about their guests or are they that cheap?
Their so called “playground” does not have any swings nor slides for children above 3. There are several broken games seen in photos attached.
cars speed next to the playground and NO road bumps or stop signs have been placed next to the playground. You can have your child killed at any instance by the speeding cars downhill.
Their so called “basketball court” is on red sand so you can’t dribble the ball, the baskets are placed right next to the tennis court wall so you can’t shoot the ball from the side or play a basketball game. You would think that at least the kids can shoot baskets there, but the rims placed on professional height, so kids cannot reach the basket to play.
the pool water is green, and the Jacuzzi does not work.
The only attraction this hotel provides other than the nice scenery is a tennis court and you must pay an hourly fee on top of the expensive hotel fee to use the tennis court.
If there were any normal hotels in Dilijan that offered any attractions or fun activities with proper management, this hotel would be out of business...
Read moreI stayed 1 night at this hotel with my wife during my trip to Georgia and Armenia in June. The hotel is big and comfortable. The room was huge, with a nice sofa, a small table and one of the biggest beds I’ve ever slept in! It stands on a quiet corner of Dilijan, embedded in a small forest of big pine(?) trees. The hotel has a small inner pool and sauna, together with a and gymnasium and massage center, being perfect for families with kids. The minus was just that, like other hotels we’ve stayed at during this trip, it seems that the hotel was built with paper walls: one can hear all the noises around like we were outside the room. Other annoying “feature” of almost all the hotels we stayed at in this trip, is that it seems that both Armenia and Georgia have no concept of window shades, which means that one wakes up at 5:30 a.m. with the daylight. Apart from that, it was a really nice stay at...
