Norik's Guest House — Hotel in Sevan

I rarely reviewed person properties but this one I was eagerly waiting to write. Norik is one of the gentleman I have ever meet. He is clean, he has very good taste of interior. If I count from the beginning, generally when you book a hostel or homestay, most of them are hard to find by location, also if you found, many of them have no sign board that this is a homestay or hotel. But here in Norik's guest house, you can see the board from 50 meters away by the street. The location is wonderful, it will give you the feel of a country side house. Ofcourse the lake is not so close to the property but still it's walkable distance, approx 2km. His house is just like a house, the floor, the wordrobe, the stairs, the kitchen everything is so clean, well maintained and hygiene. He offered us a room with a giant balcony. We stayed at Norik’s Guest House on Saturday night and had a truly heartwarming experience. The host, Norik, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although he doesn’t speak English, he communicated with us effortlessly using Google Translate, which worked really well and added a special personal touch.

The room was clean, cozy, and gave us a genuine homely vibe—far more authentic than a typical hotel stay. Norik was very helpful throughout, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Norik and his wife run a lovely guesthouse. It's an old style house but it's great. You feel like you are staying at your grandparents! We stayed in winter and it was very cold outside but inside was nice and warm (temperature and friendliness!).
