Mirans Restaurant & Hotel — Restaurant in Sevan

The reviews sounded great, so we decided to give it a try, which was a mistake.

First of all, the service is unprofessional and clumsy. When we needed time to go through the menu, he kept on standing by the table. While later he played with his phone instead and thus I wasn't able to order more drinks.

Second, the food was very greasy and not as good. Ostri was good, but should be with beef, not pork. Kiev cutlet was okay. Ker u sus was extremely greasy, with little meat and soaked fries instead of properly baked potatoes. Fried potatoes with butter were not crunchy at all, instead soaked with all and butter.

Overall, for prices common in Yerevan, I would expect a delicious feast in Sevan, which was not the case,...

Hidden gem of Sevan! The staff were amazing, although their English is very basic, they put a lot of effort into explaining us the menu. We ordered Sevan trout that comes with wonderful crunchy cooked potato, I think it's a different type of potato than what we have in Europe and it's awesome! Good in total. The salad had too much dressing and the chicken was cold, but tasty nonetheless. The beef tongue was actually pretty good. Service not very attentive but alright and parts of them very kind. The part down in the cellar is a little triste, but upstairs was a big party. Fair...
