I paid $200 to be accommodated in an over flow storage area. I was instructed to drive in and out of my site via a table drain. When I returned the managers had accommodated other campers where I was instructed to drive to access my site. The other campers were not informed of this arrangement and were extremely rude and hostile. The site had discarded food scraps and used tea bags on the ground and I was connected to power and water by extension leads and rubber garden hoses that continually disconnected. The amenities are only 4 showers for more than 100 vans. No shade and the noise from the highway and aircraft terrible. When I raised my complaint I was moved but the inconvenience was unnecessary if the park showed genuine care. When I moved sites no one followed up with me. Other campers were rude deliberately placing tables and standing in front of my vehicle to prevent driving out as directed by park staff. I had to call and leave a message as the water hose kepted disconnecting from the extension of the rubber garden hose. I never heard from anyone to see if it was rectified. Further I was abused from other campers after following instruction from the park to drive in and out. This place is the worst I have ever experienced. Photos attached. No shade. Food scraps and garden hoses. No one connects a rubber garden hose to a caravan. Oh....and I booked months in advance...

Not particularly overjoyed by being placed up the very back where a boat was being stored. Upon booking well in advance and advising of needing space for a Tent and Trailer this is where we were put. With All the Grass areas we were put in a parking bay. Yet caravans and vans and tents on car roofs people were placed in the grass areas. And we have noticed that people have been driven around given choices as to where they would like to set up. This was not offered to us either. After booking for 9 days + you would think they'd look after you a bit better. Was going to extend our stay but thought better to move on. Owners need to think about where they're putting people and on that note everyone I've spoken to agrees that you're putting people on top of each other.. Cleaning stuff cheerful cafe staff awesome great coffee

Hi Dan, my recent holiday with you was aweful: you failed to warn me you were booking us next to an active construction site. You neglected to warn me to cover up and use repellent, but clearly had an established biting midge( sandfly) problem on site. During my stay with you, I suffered 70+ bites to my legs with allergic reaction. Twice-when I booked, and upon arrival, there was no mention of the construction going on! So we were subjected to horrible industrial noise for 12 hours from 630am daily, it's dust gusting over our campsite, and midge (sandfly) attacks day in, day out. Then, criticised for putting up with it for so long when we'd had enough! A far cry from your misleading and glossy advertising, coupled with dubious commentary that's it all not your fault. Well, it is your responsibility.

Ok!!! Staff in office tried to charge me $1300 extra, I checked my bank, matched records (evidence) to their payments, and I found they tried to scam $1300 of me.Now I made complaints several times, tried to show them evidence, they never took my evidence into account. Because I became aggressive for the reasons my voice was ignored from the start, when I was polite reporting they made an error, that first action was the look on her face, KNOWING) they were CAUGHT OUT,and DID NOT give a STUFF. Till this day they still disagree they tried to scam me,I tried to contact the owner to show the evidence, so action can be taken.this is in 2021.Iv currently contacted office at Hidden Valley park, the same staff are still denying a scam took place,I wonder how many vanuble people have been victims to there scams since.they need to be reported (media) might turn heads... So they were gonna call police on me, I urged them to call the police so I could explain why I'm not happy and to show them the evidence I have, they never arrived .So why all this fuss, because a staff member pressured my partner and my self to pay the arrears of $1300 continuously for weeks , harrassing my partner while I'm working away for 2 weeks. I then faced up nicely with evidence they were shocked to see I had found the issue,BUT, she still insisted i pay up, without looking how she tried to hide the payments I payed, that become the sum of a little over $1300,in fact one nice office lady noticed the paperwork on another day. She matched my evidence and said sorry about this, Then scammer boss lady came out seeing me explaining nicely to the new office lady, I was happy to finally get my point across. Then I noticed she was shut down by office boss scammer who came out of no where? She got caught with her paints down, by her own staff, she shut her new staff member down quickly, like what she done to me,and my partner I believe she still works their.and now they have the check to say I was never behind, The lady that's wrote back to this review I believe was involved 4 weeks after this all started, and got involved in the heat of the moment and did not care what? How? When? Why her staff member created weeks of drama to benefit her own pocket, and leaves a good paying working customer with no explanation.NT Iv worked here for now 30 years, MGM Darwin Casino, All around Darwin Security, Mining, iv never had a problem like...

Horrible place. Welcomed by a guy who said read this, your checked in, go that way. Handed us a piece of paper and a card. I said what's our site number, he heavy breathed and pointed on a number on the catd. In the hundreds. How dare I not know that. Tiny site looking over construction site on dirt road. More dust and dirt than anywhere driving from down south. Tiny sites and we had a small van. Awnings out, pegged down 1/2 metre between next van. Cars on top of each other. Could hear a whisper or the guy snoring in site next to us. They locked 2 demountable toilets during the day, I guess to stop people using them during the day. Saw guy unlock it about 4. Noisy!! if you like motor or bike car racing noise then it's the place for you. Freeway noise. Domestic and military planes flying very low 24/7.. we found other caravan parks in Darwin not by motor racing circuit, airport, industrial construction site. Larger sites and much cooler. Near shops, pubs, cooler. It is hot as hell, no shade. They were putting uncovered vans, tents, motor homes against fences, just anywhere, for "unpowerd " sites. It was a depressing place and so many other options. This is the only Caravan park review I have ever written. But we rely on reviews. There is no where to walk that isn't a pure industrial area. Do your homework. We failed on this one, however a friend of a friend recommended it..In my defence a close friend said not to, and the team we are travelling with decided hidden valley. They were very or are very upset on the recommendation. They Just kept complaining and said just so depressing. Other people left when they drove in. What ever owner answers with this is exactly...

Big 4 Hidden Valley, Darwin - 5/5 Stars

My recent stay at Big 4 Hidden Valley in Darwin exceeded all expectations. This caravan park stands out for several key reasons:

Outstanding Amenities The caravan sites feature excellent concrete pads for awning areas, providing a clean and stable foundation regardless of weather conditions. The on-suite options connected directly to your caravan are a game-changer, offering private bathroom facilities that elevate the camping experience to a new level of comfort.

Family-Friendly Accommodation When our family flew up to visit, they stayed in one of the palm cabins and absolutely loved it. The cabin featured two bedrooms and a comfortable lounge/kitchen area, but the highlight was definitely the large entertaining balcony nestled amongst the palm trees. This spacious outdoor area created the perfect tropical setting for family gatherings and meals together.

Impeccable Cleanliness The entire park is meticulously maintained. From the communal areas to the individual sites, the attention to cleanliness is evident throughout the property.

Exceptional Staff The team at Hidden Valley truly makes the difference. Their friendly, helpful approach ensures guests feel welcome from check-in to departure. They're knowledgeable about local attractions and readily available to address any needs.

Overall Experience If you're looking for a premium caravan park experience in Darwin, Big 4 Hidden Valley delivers quality accommodations in a well-maintained environment with staff who genuinely care about your stay.

Highly recommended...
