The Midway Berrimah — Restaurant in Northern Territory

One Bar? seriously. The Berrimah was an iconic pub in Darwin which has changed names and styles over the years. They have currently tried to offer a little more diverse range of food than the average pub. They maybe put a little extra effort in but $9 for Garlic Bread. Arancini @ $18, I will take the $17 Arancini with Crab Meat cooked by a fully qualified Italian Chef at iL Piatto than Midway Pumpkin and Fetta cooked by an Indian Cook. The price of food at most Darwin pubs and clubs is excessive and the quality that I have seen personally is well below average. I would welcome a good pub meal at an appropriate price and above all I would like to get a 'salad' with my meal not just coloured leaves and sprinkles. Where is the best side...

Attended with a group of ladies for monthly lunch get together. Have been before and Midway scored 9/10. Not this time though. Bar person failed to give me change when buying a drink. We then waited for nearly an hour for meals as they “lost” our order. I ordered beef schnitzel, no dressing on salad and pepper sauce side. My salad was served with dressing, no sauce and the schnitzel was so tough I couldn’t chew it. I was refunded for meal and drink. Others at the table were also not impressed with their meals. Drinks were expensive, much higher than other places. The restaurant was very noisy. The score given was 4.5/10. I will never attend...

Honestly the worst meal I have had by far! Went today with friends for my birthday. The food was inedible.

The meal (risotto) was so salty and the rice was well undercooked. Zero flavour apart from the salt!

I actually took it back to the counter, something I am loathe to do and have never done in any restaurant before, but I just couldn’t eat it at all.

I was offered an apology and a replacement which was gratefully accepted.

I settled for a simple toasted sandwich, again an epic fail, it tasted soapy and was incredibly greasy.
