Our new favourite place to stay in the Blue Mountains, we will definitely be back! Already looking at dates.
The rooms are amazing, huge and luxurious with beautiful decor. Everything is of very high quality - from the furniture, to the towels and robes, to the cutlery and kitchenware! There is a family sized weber bbq and a 4 seater table on the deck, and a 2 burner stovetop inside, with a few bits and pieces to cook with so you don't even need to go anywhere. The snacks are generous and again - high quality, zokoko chocolates etc. We ate them all - oops! The wine fridge is full (extra cost for those) of all the favourites such as Ruinart, Veuve, Moet, and Cloudy Bay, etc. if you feel like drinking. The ceilings are high, so the sunlight and greenery fills the room and makes it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and luxuriate.
We had a lovely full day starting with breakfast in the Library, which was a great selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juices, pastries etc. before heading out for the Grand Canyon trail which is on the doorstep. After our walk we sat in the sun on a rocking chair in the lovely garden area near the fire-pit, then enjoyed a long hot bath before a bbq and relax in the sun on the deck. I managed to read a whole book (from the excellent selection in The Library) in total peace and quiet, nothing but the birds chirping. So lovely! In the evening we enjoyed toasting marshmallows around the fire-pit, before watching a movie and enjoying the fireplace in the room, snuggled up in the extra snuggly comfy bed.
The service is lovely, relaxed and friendly and the team are at the ready for anything you need! We loved chatting with Pedro, and Sean, (both make great coffee too!) at breakfast in the mornings, and Stephanie who was there every day, and cranking up the fire-pit in...

In the upper reaches of the Blue Mountains, Chalets at Blackheath offers an immersive escape on the edge of a vast, untamed wilderness. This is eco-luxury done right: where modern comfort and refined design sit in harmony with the surrounding bushland.
The chalets have been thoughtfully designed with sustainability and serenity in mind. Natural materials create a seamless connection with the landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside in, offering uninterrupted views of native forest, while private decks with fire pits and BBQs invite slow mornings and starlit evenings.
We loved the armchairs by the fire, king-size beds dressed in crisp linen, deep soaking tubs, dual rain showers, and soft ambient lighting. The bathrooms feel like a private wellness retreat.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the attention to detail and service. The team is welcoming and intuitive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. Thoughtful extras like breakfast with native ingredients, curated local produce and guided bushwalks make the stay feel deeply personal.
We love the chance to slow down, breathe deep and reconnect in luxurious, natural beauty. Wholeheartedly...

You always said yes to our requests and met us with enthusiasm at all hours of the day. we’ve throughly enjoyed our interactions with you. As there are only 4 chalets in the hotel, their undivided attention is given to all guests. Communication was super responsive . Sending them a WhatsApp , and they will respond in a couple of minutes||Next off - the rooms. I’ve stayed in top hotels worldwide - but the interior design of the chalet tops them all. We spent so much time admiring the room - taking our own notes if we were to design our own place in the future. Everything was of super high quality . Kitchen is fully equipped and the chalet comes with its own bbq pit.||Location wise - it’s best to hire a car. We loved driving to the sleepy town of Blackheath (5 mins out), buying meats for our bbq as well as the best pies in the blue mountains. 2 excellent hiking / viewing spots are near the hotel to||The hotel also partners with some excellent guides. Our guide Eric took us to his personal favourite spot where we had a picnic breakfast surrounded by many kangaroos. ||A big thanks to the hotel for making our stay in the Blue Mountains a...
