A nice & quick overnight stay at Bayview Geographer Resort to attend a wedding during school holiday. We booked an Executive Villa with a King bed & it was a pleasant stay.

The Checkin was quick, with just enough separation between each unit to give it a cosy and holiday ambience. The aircon unit is quite dated but efficient enough to heat up during the chilly evening, while the bathroom is basic but clean. . As with other reviews, the complimentary wifi was almost non usable due to congestion most of the time we tried to use it, so we had to resort to personal hotspot on mobiles with sporadic reception. We are hopeful this will improve once the upgrade is completed.

Parking wise: while they have allocated parking for each chalet or Villa, we found there were times when we had to park further away during peak times because there were more cars parked around our units.

Location wise, a big plus is how close the resort is to the beach. It was literally a few minutes walk from the resort to the beautiful Georgraphe bay.

Tip 1 : it’s worth requesting for late check out with different customer service staff at different times as we were told a day before by a staff that no late check out was available due to peak season, but another staff was kind enough to offer us a late check out at 11am on the morning of our departure. That extra 1 hr is so appreciative when you have a young family

Tip 2 : The indoor swimming pool is worth a visit because the glass walls act like a greenhouse & warm up the interior despite the windy & slightly chilly weather outside

Tip 3 : a nice feature to include washing machine in each unit, and also in the laundry hut next to the swimming pool, for those sandy and soiled laundry

Overall a pleasant...

We had previously stayed at the Abbey Beach Resort next door but decided to give this a try, there's no restaurant but you don't need on as there's lots of places to eat around town.|We wanted to have a kitchen so that we could make our own breakfast and have more flexiblity. |Apartments are set amongst the trees and despite there being a lot of units it still manages to feel private, I love the wrap around walls that give each until a bit of garden which makes you feel secluded.|We stayed mid week and past the peak summer months to it was lovely and quiet, we were initially nervous about that as it's advertised for families but given the time of year we didn't have to worry, no disruptive children! |There's a large bed, spa bath, shower, lounge area, kitchen and as mentioned outdoor seating area, car is parked right outside, although we did have a bit of an altercation with someone one night who parked in our spot but they moved eventually with a bit of prompting! |We didn't use any other facilities, we were only staying for 2 nights but the we found the place much more modern and cleaner than Abbey Beach and certainly not as expenisve, the beach is only a short walk away. |Only a few nitpicks:|The metal edges where the windows meet needs a good clean as dirt had collected in them and hadn't been cleaned for a while.|Internet was free but didn't work the entire time we were there! It kept saying it was connecting but nothing happened. |The mirror in the bathroom needed replacing as it had large desilvering on the bottom but otherwise no complaints, we would definitely stay there again. |Could do with some cushions for the sofas, they were a bit uncomfortable...

Booked the room through Jetstar, while booking flight tickets to Busselton. Got upgraded to a studio room, which was more than ample for a solo traveller, with a queen bed plus a single. The basic amenities are good, from kettle and toaster to microwave and mini fridge. The reverse cycle helped with the cold weather. The toiletries were good quality. The room was clean and neat. But never saw housekeeping during the entire 4 night stay. Not sure what the deal was, not did reception day anything when I checked in. I didn't have any need to replenish toiletries or room clean though. Would have been good to have a Cafe or food outlet. Having said that, the Reflections Cafe and Tonic by the Bay are a 5 minute walk. Would have really liked to have information on transport facilities or maybe tie up / contacts for local travel... being a solo traveller and not having a hired car, that was the big draw back of staying in this area. The resort itself was an excellent beach front place. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

We stayed as a family of 5 for a long weekend in a 3 bedroom spa villa. The the villa was great, had 3 bedrooms( King bed and 4 singles that can be pushed together), 3 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry, lounges and outdoor table and chairs.. 3 teenage kids loved it as there were TVs in each bedroom, along with there own bathrooms. Overall the villa was perfect for our stay and situation. Its quite popular and lots of guest, but villas are well spread out so not too noisy from neighbouring guests. The facilities are great, the pool is warmed which is pleasant early morning but too warm for me during a hot day. The beach is nice and the water doesn't go too deep quickly which is ideal for families with children, and when we stayed, the beach in the morning was nice and calm for a paddle board. There are dolphins all along this coast so often you can see them and paddleboard near them. I'm pretty sure we will come back here again next time we holiday in Busselton.
