Not exactly the "Family" experience we had in mind.
Stayed here last night with my wife, my newborn, and—plot twist—my mother-in-law. We booked a family room with "two bedrooms," but apparently, the budget didn’t quite stretch to actual walls. Instead, we got what I can only describe as a glorified cubicle with a talent for amplifying sound.
Privacy? Non-existent. My wife and her mum were having full-blown conversations from their respective “rooms” like inmates chatting through prison bars. Or, if you prefer, like contestants on a dodgy reality dating show, minus the suspense.
We had planned for a bit of quality time—you know, some much-needed post-baby intimacy—but the moment we walked in, it was a solid NOPE. Not happening.
The moment my mother-in-law jumped in the shower, we had our five minutes of glory… Lucky we’d just put the baby to sleep—timing was everything.
And to top it off, my mother-in-law snores like a freight train. Luckily, my son woke up crying, which almost drowned her out. Almost.
Overall? If you're after a genuine family bonding experience (and I mean real close), this is the place for you. But if you value privacy, walls, and a good night’s sleep... maybe keep looking.

Read moreWe arrived and the place looked great. We got in and did a quick inspection, we soon realised the shower head in the bathroom was not functional and was spraying water everywhere. Bathroom cupboards are rusted out and need replacing. This it not safe. Cupboard in the bedroom smelt really bad I did not want to be putting our clothes in there. We also opened the blinds for our windows above our beds and there were dead bugs a hep of dust and rubbish that has not been taking or put in the bin. Would not reccomend this place to people also as it is not located in Margaret River. The email that was sent to us gave us false information and it took us over 2 hours to find this place. Other than that beds were great to sleep in and very comfortable but for 210$ a night we were expecting something better than...

The room & facilities were clean, no complaints about the accommodation.
However, at around 6.30am this morning (Saturday) a car pulled up outside my door and a woman came to my door and used a key to enter the room. I screamed and told her to get out. Which she did. I looked out the window and she’s gesturing that she is sorry. I was on my own, having come down for a funeral, the door was locked and I put the chair in front of it, because there was no safety chain on the door. When I checked out I told the desk manager who couldn’t have cared less. There was woman sitting next to him that asked if I had locked the door properly. Yes I really did lock the stupid door. It’s really spooked me … not happy with their lack of concern or customer service. People be aware...
