This caravan park is situated within very easy walking distance to an outstanding swimming beach. Additionally there are numerous coffee shops, takeaways and a surf lifesaving club restaurant if you don't feel like cooking or are a coffee addict ( recommend Little Mike's cafe for a wicked brew). The park has a lot of shaded sites and is quiet and relatively secluded. Whilst the amenities are dated they are clean. There is a large covered camp kitchen and seating area as well as tennis court, swimming pool and kids entertainment area. We found the reception staff to be quite rude and unhelpful. We had booked for another long week end and after paying later found we had to cancel the booking. Despite asking for the booking merely to be moved to another time we were fobbed off and rudely and effectively told it was bad luck and we lost our full payment.

A very quiet caravan park. The No Dog policy is a bonus! The sites are level, can be a bit tricky to back in as the turning area is narrow. Very close, walking distance to Woorim beach. It’s lovely to listen to the waves of a night time. It’s close, walking distance, to the local shops in Woorim. The amenities, very dated & in need of repair, are clean. One shower cubicle has the floor lifting up, an accident waiting to happen. The laundry machines are dated & one leaks water onto the floor. The washers are $4 per load & the dryers $3. The gardens are well cared for & there is a park, pool & play area to keep the kids occupied.

It was all right; we did not think it was worth the 40$ a night. Amenities were dirty with cobwebs and it the shower is extremely low, it says for your convenience but it's not very convenient if you need to pop a squad when you try to wash your armpits. Our site was in front of the garbage area. The tradies were doing work such as grinding, it was so loud also with constant trucks coming in and out. Garbage bins they had on the truck to collect stunk and they parked it for ages in the front, very unpleasant. Lady we booked with over the phone was lovely. Pool was nice and location was great!

We got to the park at about 4pm on a Friday afternoon ready to relax and unwind, however we were greated with one of the caretakers that live on-site working on a van for about an hour, using a rattle gun. Right beside our cabin. OK... Not the biggest deal. THEN my partner and I were awoken at 1245am by swearing and yelling, coming through the bedroom window. I walk out onto the balcony to find 3 males and 2 females arguing about something. They saw me on the balcony and didn't stop, despite 2 of the people being the managers of the park (and we were later to find out one of the men was the park managers family member). When I spoke to the managers the next morning, no apology was offered. That afternoon we had some neighbours check in around lunch and they came and asked us how we checked in because they were told the key would be left out "somewhere" for them and the office wasn't reopening until 2pm. After a unsuccessful treasure hunt for the key they left until later. They had a child and an elderly woman with them, so we felt for their predicament. Fast forward to the following day, and my partner and sister and law were approached by the female manager regarding my 2 nephews (4 and 6) staying with us. Apparently she was not aware and was angry to have seen them there. My partner apologised for not making them aware and both ladies offered to come and fix up the payment. The manager then aggressively told them that it would be coming off the credit card we paid with so don't worry about it, then left. When my brother in law and I returned to the cabin both ladies were upset by how hostile she had been to them for no real reason. I would not stay here again and would discourage anyone who wants to have a peaceful holiday...

We pulled into this park we had been here before, thought we would stay a couple of days to see how we liked it so we may book long term as we are building on Bribie. The very nice young receptionist we first met informed us long term stay would be $175 a week, and we could choose between about 5 sites. Our stay was acceptable enough even though not much maintenance seems to be done around this park, particularly the toilets and I question the cleanliness with cobwebs and toilet seats broken, but we figured we only use the toilets not the showers so fro a cheaper rent we would book further. The receptionist we struck then told us no it was $200 a week and she told we could not pick a site. She was very rude, so we have decided not to stay and will book into the other park instead. Maybe this place needs new managers with personality. No wonder the place is empty and the park on the other side of the island is packed out. You people need a reality check....Management has responded as seen below...not quite true...we had been given a price at another caravan park but when we Enquiry at this park we were given a weekly rate that we couldn’t refuse, maybe a talk to reception staff about misrepresenting information to begin with would have alleviated the problem to begin with. We never came in and tried to barter, right from the beginning we told reception we only wanted six weeks, and that was the rate she gave us even directing us to the sites we could choose. So pretty sure who is getting the story wrong. Even if your amenities are old they they can still be kept clean, a bit of elbow grease...

This park was not our first choice, but since it had the availability we required, we took the plunge. Didn't realize until we arrived that the vast majority of the sites are permanent and that petty theft is a problem in the park. This was an unpleasant surprise. Was also disappointed to get a phone call from park staff at 2.45pm asking if we would be arriving before 4.30pm knock off, which also meant that any hiring of mini golf/sports equipment was not available for the coolest part of the day. The mini golf course was a token gesture. It was covered in leaves with broken and useless equipment and the games room was also disappointing. Not even a T. V. We stayed in a Frangipani Cabin and although it was clean, tidy and had a working air conditioner, it was way too cramped for 4 people. The bed was an ironing board (although my husband disagrees) and the entire bathroom was squeezed into a space the size of a cupboard. The shower, while so small it made it challenging to get to all the necessary body parts, had copious amounts of hot water. I noticed on arrival that I had to put sheets on the bunk beds, which would have been fine, had I felt that I was already getting bang for my buck. Even though a lovely patrolled beach, parks and shops are within walking distance of our accommodation, it's not enough to entice us...
