Food was great, tasty and came out hot. I believe it only came out super hot because our order was forgotten about. If it had been forgotten about I would have liked honesty instead of made up excuses. We were walk in customers with our baby in a pram. When we asked for a table we got a certain look from a staff member as I believe she needed to sit us where the pram wouldn’t be in the way (like it was an inconvenience). We ordered straight away via the QR code. Wasn’t told of any wait times on the app or in person via the staff. My husband asked about our meals as it was reaching 40 minutes since we ordered. It wasn’t overly busy at this time, empty tables around. People around us were getting their meals who had also arrived after us. We waited 50mins for our garlic pizza to come out. Again with no mention that there was a wait time at all. I went to ask where our mains were as they were coming out (60mins after ordering). I mentioned this to the staff and they apologised and said it should have been on the app. Also said that our meals get cooked in different sections that’s why it took a while. I believe this should still be mentioned in person especially before you sit customers so they can make the decisions if they want to wait that long. Prior knowledge about food wait times should be voiced...

When I ordered my meal , I informed the very nice staff member I was allergic to seafood and I asked for the anchovies to be removed from my ceaser salad , when it arrived with anchovies I asked if they could be removed , it was taken back to the kitchen and then a staff member returned telling me the there was seafood in the sauce I said that's no problem as I'd had it a week ago ( andvthevsaucevwas fine ) then I watched the chef remove 2 anchovies from the top and get angry at the waitress and it was brought back to my table , still with 6-8 anchovies left under neath the rest of the salad , while I watched the chef get in a bad mood in the kitchen Sorry I’m allergic to seafood , 1 star Not happy and then the poor waitress was so embarrassed she refunded me the cost of the meal, while the chief was throwing his hands in the air in anger in the kitchen , it looks like he learnt nothing from the experience, so I thought I'd better warn you others out there who can't have anchovies, or ask if it's not to much trouble to have them removed...

I see there has been good reviews over the years, it must be I am ordering the wrong meals over the past 3 years. Today was Chicken Schnitzel. Not too sure where the stodgy, shiny, brownish, mash was created from but it was not lumpy. The chicken was the processed heart shaped thin meat crumbed. The small salad consisted of some rocket, bean shoots, grated carrot, fetta bits, a wedge of tomato with a dressing, overall it was tasteless. Chips served were similar to what you would expect from the bottom of the bag. Crisps and all short length chips, which I have never experienced. Staff were friendly altho no one asked if the meal was okay luckily. They may be aware it’s not that great. Seaside dining regardless of where in Australia always expects the view keeps the customers coming and this establishment is no different. Come take a look at the establishments view and have an Australian brew or two but eat elsewhere. Feb 2023 $25 plain Schnitzel. Members prices are minimally cheaper. Minimal pokies available. No...

While the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the venue is clean and well presented for an older club, the food was subpar. We had oyster Kilpatrick rated 7/10. Flavoursome and not overcooked. 6 king prawns with cocktail sauce rated 2/10. Flavorless prawns, potentially overcooked or low quality and the sauce was just mayo mixed with ketchup (sweet tomato sauce). Kids fish/Battered Barra rated 8/10. Not dry, flaked well, natural flavour and smell. Steak and bacon sanga rated 6/10. What spoiled the sanga was the very hard bread. Either old or overbaked with a hard top/bottom crust.

Needed a place to stop by for a quick, delicious lunch. Was absolutely delicious. Just not as quick as I would’ve preferred. All of our meals were evenly balanced and I myself was satisfied. Even my company, who usually has exceptionally high standards ( which is why I eat with them ), hummed with contentment when they sipped their beer. If you are looking for non-alcoholic drinks, I highly recommend the tropical mocktail. Overall, great place for any time of the day. Even better when the weather clears up and you get an eyeful of the view.
