Hey, yeah nah all good, it’s great but it’s too far out of the town central, eastern beach is all good but the absolute state of the amentities in the oval is absolutely disgusting, the stalls need to go to the ground to prevent others from pissing on the ground and going into other stalls, the toilet stalls are too small, so he shower stalls are too low and you can easily see over them, the toilet paper is right on you, and dew to the stalls you are often pressed up against the s**t covered walls, there are only three stalls in a bathroom, where it is to provide for 100’s of sites, and they need to build a new set of amentities that are closer to the sites near the highway facing side, also the sites are quite unlevel and if it rains water doesn’t drain and it becomes a nightmare, god forbid you sleep in a swag coz there’s no good nights from either the unlevel grounds or the amount of tree roots and rocks in the ground, been here for 5-6 years in a row and it is an absolute nightmare, owners if you see this, do something about this ASAP, instead of replying with ‘oh we’re so sorry to hear’ not interested, spend $30,000 on a new set of amentities, spend a couple thousand to upgrade the set of stalls in the men’s toilets(U don’t need showers in the toilet side) and spend a bit of time during the quiet periods too upgrade the state of the park, level the ground out, increase the drainage, and even it could probably use some drainage points out the back for caravan showers, and possibly some more caravan septic drop offs, because trust me, only use the toilets as a last resort, DO SOMETHING, because we and our friends will not be returning again(oh and we know you have the money to spend, coz u know how to charge) other then that, just increasing the quality of life in basic needs of a caravan park and it could become lakes entrance greatest caravan park, even...
Read moreWe stayed here during the peak period of January (something we would never do normally) and enjoyed it so much, have booked the following year already. The park is the closest one to the patrolled beach where children don't have to cross busy roads to access it. At the western end of the park, there is a huge shaded jumping pillow and this is a real kid zone. If you get a spot on the circle you can even watch your children from your caravan. The camp kitchen, toilet and shower facilities are really good, there is even a herb garden and small TV room. A toddler/baby room with bath is also available and serviced our needs well. At the eastern end of the park, the sites are a lot bigger and you aren't on top of each other like the western end. You are also a 3 min walk to the beach, so if you forget anything, you can always go back and get it. Western end people have to walk through the east if they want to walk to the beach. The toilet block is very basic though. The showers are very small and really need to be updated with more space so you can properly dry yourself. I guess this is the spin off of having a large site. The only playground is at the eastern end of the park, however it really isn't a long walk. There is also a public playground just outside the park on the way to the beach. We looked at all the other caravan parks in the area and decided this...
Read moreThe disgusting state of the bathrooms was a huge letdown for this park! Unfortunately I visited with a broken leg and the distance from our site was so far (we politely asked if we could be moved closer to the amenities but this request was turned down), each time I visited the toilets I found them to be well below a hygienic standard. Yes it was a long weekend and obviously a peak time but the cleaning schedule was not upped until late Saturday (we checked in on Thursday), there was a sign on the back of doors advising to speak to the office if the facilities were not up to scratch, I did that and instead of complying and saying ‘thank you for mentioning that, we will get someone to grab a mop and attend to it straight away!’, but instead the staff became defensive and said they will stick to the ‘timed schedule’, not good enough! So I told them how difficult it was to shower in filth with a moonboot to worry about to I was given a key to the disabled amenities, these were OK but I was shocked to see on the cleaning schedule on the back door that it had not been attended to in 6 days even with at least one other person in possession of the disabled key. Mind boggling when sensitive parts need to be seated on the support chair! Do better...
