DO NOT BOTHER BOOKING HERE.
Catastrophic incompetence, inconsideration, arrogance and stupidity perfectly blended together to ensure the complete destruction of any stay. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
It’s probably my own fault for persevering when I saw the Koomari bus parked out the front but little did I realise that it harboured the management to and from work every day being run wholly and solely by special needs workers.
12 months ago we booked and checked periodically 3 times 4 months prior and everything was all ok that we booked the same cabins as the previous year, paid our deposit, no communication from them until we turn up on the day to check in and EVERYONES cabin had been moved…we have 2 young kids and we paid for a deluxe cabin and we were relegated to a stick and a bit of tin. Absolutely disgraceful.
We booked the whole street for 23 people (our extended family from Melbourne we see once a year hence being so meticulous checking through the year) only to turn up to all be scattered through this disjointed, shabby, two bit ghetto that isn’t fit to house your dog for an hour.
When addressing them re compensation, the alleged managers retorts included “use somebody else’s deck” and “you have a roof over your head” remembering the bus she arrived in, I went easy on her.
An astounding display of gutter level customer service and ghetto...
Read moreStayed there last weekend & man it was the best stay ever. Absolutely loved everything about our stay there, from the time we arrived to th time we had to leave. I could not fault it!!!
Loved the lil cabin we stayed in, it was tiny but we loved it as it was small, cosy & easy to maintain which suited us, they don’t call it a cabin for no reason. The cabin we stayed in has a Queen bed, a Bunk bed, a couch, 2 seats with a small table, Lil kitchen area & bathroom. Shower was very nice, you have your own parking!! They have the amenities building literally 10 steps from our room, which includes the Male & Female toilets & also the Laundry room. Laundry area was nice and tidy, they have about 2 or 3 Washing machines & 2 dryers. I think it was about 4 $1 coins to wash & 4 $1 coins to Dry your clothes. They have a BBQ area next to the swimming pool area which was nice & clean, The pool was beautiful, my kids, partner & I enjoyed the swimming in the pool heaps!!
The maintenance guy working the day we arrived was so friendly & helpful!!!
We met some lovely people there, from the elderly residents staying there to the long term stayers & the people visiting, everyone there were just so friendly!!
I’ll definitely recommend this place to families/couples who want a nice quiet relaxing & friendly atmosphere. Would definitely be visiting again next time we’re...
Read moreThis tourist park is not even worth 1 star. I am writing this review on behalf of my sister who stayed here with her two young children. When my sister checked in, the receptionist staff were really rude and not welcoming what so ever. My sister grabbed her key early in the afternoon, however, did not go to her cottage until late into the night. The beds were extremely uncomfortable to the point my sister did not get any sleep. She woke up in the morning to realise the cottage walls were disgusting and covered in blood. Additionally, NO one had cleaned the walls, floors or amenities (kettle/Microwave). My sister had payed over $300 for 2 nights so for that amount of money the cottage needed to be clean. My sister was really understanding and nice and spoke with the receptionist and manager to try and get a discounted price for the rooms, however, both staff and manager were extremely rude. They refunded her for the night she didn't even stay and kicked her and her 2 children aged (2 years and 1 year old) out of the accomodation with no where to stay. I believe they needed to refund her the entire amount. I would not recommend this accomodation to anyone in...
