Stayed 1 night & couldn't wait to get out of there, the place is disgusting. There's a visible layer of scum and skin cells floating on top of the pools, and dirt and sand all over the bottom. We booked a non-powered site and when we arrived were simply told "well we've put you in a powered drive through site so that will cost more because that's what's available" sites are on top of each other with no awnings allowed and 6 sites sharing power and water points so you're expected to run your hoses, waste pipes and power cords through 3 other people's sites with them driving over the top of them to damage them. Toilets and showers are filthy and look like they haven't been cleaned in months, wads of crusty dried up toilet paper stuck to the roof, cockroaches running about, old filth and scum around the sinks and taps, and I don't even want to know what the dried on opaque white liquid was all over the toilet roll holders that also had a layer of dust over it so god knows when they were last cleaned. Everything is corner cutting and bare minimum effort they need to put in by law and just relying on the draw card of the artesian pools (that aren't well maintained) to get ppl to line their pockets. No bins at all in the park, signs in the amenities saying carry your receipt with you at all times or be kicked out. Flyer given out saying "before you complain our sites meet the minimum requirements by law" 😔 yep that's the motto you want to set your standards by & clearly a lot of complaints. Internet was down, couldn't put our cords out for fear of damage, no bins, showers and toilets too dirty to use, just had a very quick shower off to get the filthy pool water off us when we quickly got out- so not sure what we were paying for? Have stayed in free camps cleaner and they at least had bins.

The most interesting caravan Park we have ever been as they have a Natural Hot Spring in their Park and also we able to use the Hotsprings motel's pool too which is much bigger but not much warmer than the Gwydir's one. Stayed for 2 nights as there were minimum stay requirements in the cabins. Friendly and helpful staff. Friendly people that stayed from all over the places, great place to meet new people from all over Australia. Friendly Locals too. Yes there are some bad areas and yes there are some unwelcoming locals, but thats just everywhere, not only in Moree. Just make sure you book ahead for the best cabin location or Sites location. The sites for camping are wide enough for 3x3 -4x4 m tents. Overall our experiences were great. There is also a tour that operated by other people taking us to Cotton Farms just as the reception. A must visit. Amaroo Hotel is nearby, but if you have a car why not venture and try different food in the area. Ask reception about the local shuttle that runs. We Recommend Noodle Time, Dragon Phoenix and Moree Indian restaurant .

AVOID THIS PARK. Staff at reception are uninterested and not engaged at all. Site are tiny - they are maybe 3 m wide in total but we could not even have our awing out and our 2 normal size chairs could just fit in between, but you would not sit there squashed between your van and the next door one. They have crammed everyone in - very unlikely that there are enough amenities for the number of people there. The dogs barking and having to hear your neighbour snoring is dreadful - traffic noise expected as close to the main road. The WORST thing was that the extra bright spot lights above the van was on ALL night and it was brighter at night than during the day - totally ridiculous and unhealthy to expecting anyone to sleep with the lights on all night - our battery controller showed how many volts were being picked up over night - see photo. Hot springs are nice but over crowded like the park so not the relaxing experience expected at all. I would NOT recommend this park at all- we left after 1 night despite having booked for 2 - was not worth the $40.

Stayed here for the night as we had a car breakdown and this was the nearest town with a car hire business. The main park was full so we were in the location with units and with 1 pool 1km away. The place was pretty retro and needed a make-over. Was like a 70s brick motor inn with a REALLY hard bed! Not a place I would stay more than 1 night. We brought packed food to make breakfast in the morning but found the stove top wasn't working. Tried calling a few different numbers to get help with it (about 90 minutes before check-out time) and couldn't get a response. Eventually did just in time and got to use the kitchen next door before we had to leave. Anyway, the feature is obviously the pools. We used the big pool near our room which was nice (and really hot). After 20 minutes we got out as this one pool was 40°. Later we drove to the other location. Here the pools were great! 5 pools with different temperatures which was nice. We had one incident that really ruined the vibe though!!! My wife and I were having a nice chat (after a rough few days with our car drama), she moved in to give me a kiss and we were suddenly interrupted by a man standing over us by the pool. He was a staff member of the complex and in front of everyone else nearby, he said, 'you can't do that here. There are people around. If you want to do that, get a room!' We initially thought he was joking but NO! He was seriously scolding a husband and wife for having an innocent kiss in the pool!! After he walked off, the other couples around us where laughing and also shocked. One man commented that he hadn't heard anything like that since being told off in school! It was ridiculous! My wife and I both just sat there in the pool in disbelief for awhile and our relaxation sure went out the window. It felt like we were in a strict religious country with crazy rules about public affection!! At the time we were quite mad and shocked by it, the next day it seemed also quite funny as it was so odd to be scolded like children in a public place like that. This place really needs to work on getting some upgrades and some customer service...

We booked the day before a drive thru site @ $40pn. On arrival, The receptionist never looked up to greet us, kept her head down and eventually said "how can i help" without looking at me!! She stunk from cigarettes i had to take a step back, , told me she will have to juggle bookings to give me a drive thru site with a scrowl on her face. Gave me a map of park and garbled as quick as lightning a ton of instructions whillst marking the park map frantically with a highligher all over it. Now a new customer was standing near me, i looked at him with this woman talking so fast and he rolled his eyes and said "my turn next dont know i will cope"!! i ask for coins for washing machine she said its $1 coins. However 1 machine was only $2 coins, and 1 broken. 2 dryers broken and have been for a while. The dryer i used only took $1 for 7 mins and you couldn't add more coins to extend drying time so back n forth every 7 mins, lucky we were across the road on site 3. Sites - omg!! Power n water - we were lucky it was beside our van site 3 . A man on site 5 had to run his power and water under the van on site 4 to use. The connection points are half way along the site not at the end of the sites hence running cords under other vans. Also a big sign on power box not to put awnings out as sites that narrow its ridiculous! Pools were nice. Cafe had good food very tasty and well priced. Amenities need a bomb and rebuilt as does the laundry . Rubbish bins - I'll save you time , after walking all over the park looking for one - and the park is huge - its as you drive out near reception right at the gate. I felt like leaving it on my site i was so peeved. i walked around forever and no, not told about it on check in, how ridiculous not having bins! Cafe had good food at good prices Would i stay here again? No bloody way. We have been travelling for 3 months and this was the worst caravan park - i think that rude smelly receptionist...

Dated. Unwelcoming. Cramped.

My husband and I recently stayed for two nights on our way to QLD. The north sites were extremely tight just fitting our small campervan.

The bathroom facilities were the worst we have ever experienced. Very old, dated and needing major maintenance. The bathroom facilities closest to the thermal pool had no soap during our stay.

There were no provisions made for recycling or rubbish throughout the park- only a dumpster at the park entrance.

Pools were very popular, signs say shower before entering which is quite reasonable, the only problem being that the pool’s bathroom facilities only included change rooms and toilets- no showers!! The 39 degree pool had lots of scum on the surface visible when the sun hit it. The pools are very busy and obviously a money spinner! My husband could not bring himself to try the pools as he was worried about germs.

The park itself has a simple camp kitchen, laundry but nothing else such as a play park.

The park shows absolutely no signs of maintenance or upgrades other than the new cabins being constructed.

Customer service was very disappointing, not a happy soul in the centre. Very disappointing check-in. Possibly understaffed? Three staff in reception, phones ringing out, and not a friendly hello or welcome but rather “do you have a booking?”. Negative signs all over the park, “don’t do this, don’t take that”. Extremley unwelcoming. Atleast the fellow campers were welcoming and up for a chat. I actually felt sorry for the staff, they all seemed very miserable.

$38 dollars a night which allowed us to shower and access the laundry to do a load of washing. If you are totally self-contained you may enjoy your stay. The park is situated in the industrial area and not a nice place to experience on foot, town centre is a simple 3 minute drive away.

The fellow campers and the thermal pools were the only draw card here.

Would we...
