Hot Springs Pools & Units — Hotel in Moree

The Moree Hot Springs were an unexpected highpoint of our inland highway journey. The warm artesian waters were extremely pleasant, and the indoor and outdoor pools were both well designed for the number of guests. Gwydir Motel has recently acquired these premises, and booking in at the other site, and not given a street number or address for this site, was confusing. Worst place to stay if you're not staying in a room can't comment on them beside very expensive. First tried to put me in a so called site 29 (don't do IT) that had a large square concrete slab and massive water mains sticking out of the ground. Then after saying 3 different drive through site's they sent me too one that already had a caravan in IT. the units are great value. the deluxe cabins are do huge and roomy. HOWEVER, the curtains do not block out the street lights (unit10) so was very bright...due to the cabins being so new, all the missed cleaned spots show up, so house keeping isn't great. INDOOR pool is AMAZING!! never crowded and the water from the spouts is hot and comes out hard. PERFECT.

We love the temperature, the smell of sulphur and the fact that it is not crowded, if you are lucky you may get the pool...
