Where do I even begin? The moment we made the booking, Sharon sent through a list of local interests and eat out places. On the way, we were in the car in the pouring raining at 11 am wondering what to do for the next 3 hours till check in time..Sharon kindly sent a message saying our room is ready and we can check in now. Upon arrival, we started to notice surprises after surprises. It is clear that when this little accommodation was built, the hosts either have owner occupied mindset or wanting to provide the best experience for their customers. The attention to detail is meticulous. USB power outlets, all the interior lights are dimmable, nighlight in the bathroom, power board at each side of the bed, Smeg appliances, new furnitures, just to name a few. That afternoon was cold and rainy, we were very happy to stay inside having snacks provided, read the book and watch a TV that actually can cast my phone (numerous accommodations I stayed have so called smart TV and cannot bother to connect it with wifi), and admire the harbour from inside. The bed is so comfortable, with a proper mattress, not those cheap ones you find in other accommodations that will make a wave when you move your leg just a little. There are 2 pillows! One soft one firm! This is easily the BEST accommodation I have ever stayed in. Don't doubt the reviews you see, you have to be here to understand it. The only issue is now I don't think I will be 100% happy with other places since Sharon raised the bar so hight. Cannot wait to come back! Thanks so much Sharon. Keep...
Read moreI stayed at Studio 1, lovely bed and breakfast hosted by Sharon, and had the pleasure of meeting her husband Mark.
The studio is right in front of the beach, an absolutely stunning location. Let me start by saying I stayed with the best hosts ever. Sharon is a beautiful person who made my stay extra special.
The fridge was stocked full of complimentary treats juice, soft drinks, water, cold beers, and a variety of mini chocolate bars. There was even a bowl of fresh fruit, cookies, cheese and crackers, and a thoughtfully prepared breakfast waiting for the next morning, including bread to toast, condiments (jam, butter, honey, Vegemite), muffins, toasted muesli, and yoghurt. What a treat, I was truly spoilt😍
The studio itself was spectacular, from the Sheridan towels to the luxurious bed linen. One of my most memorable moments was sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee, gazing out over Port Albert Bay, watching the boats drift by and the fishermen heading out to sea. I completely lost myself in the moment.
I am so grateful to Sharon and Mark for their warmth and hospitality. Boat Harbour Jetty B&B has my heart. A must visit when in Port Albert. ❤️
Thank you again, Sharon and Mark, truly unforgettable. Until we...
Read moreA wonderful place to stay in Port Albert. We had a weekend away and wanted to stay somewhere on the coast, and came across this. When we arrived, Sharon came and welcomed us and gave us info on our unit. We stayed in Unit 3 with great views of the harbour and over to the mangroves. |The unit was impeccable - great size, nice couch, big comfy bed, and a bathroom that was spacious and modern. Everything was high quality from the towels to the electric jug and toaster. And so many extras - cheese and biscuits, choice of teas, coffee machine and pods, yummy breakfast of muesli, fruit juice, toast, yoghurt and muffins.|Went to the fish and chip shop for tea - right on the wharf and very fresh, just a short walk. |In the morning had breakfast and went for a walk around the harbour and back around the mangroves - such a scenic walk - the paths etc are all very well kept - a lovely little fishing port. |Then back to the unit for coffee and muffins in the sun.|All up we loved our stay, no negatives, which speaks highly of the care and attention to detail from Sharon. And we loved Port Albert - nice views, and a quiet getaway.|Highly...
