We stayed in the deluxe cabins(July & August)which were very modern and have excellent amenities. Under cover parking with table and seating outside. Bed was very comfortable and large. Bathroom was very large, very modern, very clean. The shower, in particular, was the largest one we've come across in van park cabins. Full kitchen with fridge like you would have at home. Table and 4 chairs inside, plus a lounge. The TV was a reasonable size and work well. There are 3 steps to get from outside to in. The screen door can be pinned to keep open for easy access. The Park has a variety of planned activities on any given day. A list is at each main camp kitchen. There are multiple pools. Some heated, some not, so take your pick. A bouncy castle, activity room and activity shed( for line dancing evenings, etc.) are all available. There is a new playground being constructed and is, most likely, completed now. In the tourist season there are a desert vendor, strawberrys and pav etc, plus, other beautiful delights and a Bao van, with Asian foods. The reception area also has a store with most things you will need at short notice. There are plenty of tourist nick naks, some clothing, some fishing gear, etc. A self check in, key and fob pickup at reception helps with a quick arrival process. If you have paid via the app they will send you a message if your accommodation is ready and to pick up your paper work and keys from the box on the counter. All the possible information you need will be I an envelope and the text or email will have a link for other park and surrounds activities. Staff are fantastic and very willing to help where needed. The Park is huge and has something for everyone of every age and budget and type of accommodation. Extra highly recommended. Cheers, Q.

We've been there several times the last month and used the park as base for our trips to Kings Canyon, Uluru, Gemtree, Arltunga and Coober Pedy. There are ensuite campsites with showers or bathtubs/showers, which is very convenient after a few days self-contained camping. There's plenty for kids to do: Friday is movie night, Saturday is kids' club, and Sunday is pancake breakfast. Sometimes at breakfast and dinner, a few parrots show up to say hello. Well equipped camp kitchen and BBQs. A new water park has been built next to the pool area and will be ready for use in early September. On our last arrival, we had bad luck with our campsite; I had a screw in my caravan's tire, so I assume it was left there. I recommend checking the gravel site for unwanted items before driving on it. I doubt the staff checks for this when setting up pitches for new arrivals.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Alice Springs Discovery Park! A The park was spotlessly clean, with plenty of activities for families, including entertainment rooms, a beautiful pool, bike hire, and a sunset area The amenities, laundry, and camp kitchens were all excellent! The staff went above and bevond making us feel welcome and safe, even though the park is a bit out of town this was A big plus as the was a variety of food options, including a strawberry milkshake van , pancake van, and bao bun van And, of course, the brewery across the road was a highlight, especially since we could take our furry friend along we would Highly recommend discovery park Alice springs

The staff at the park are wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate all my needs.

I booked a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin. I arrived late and initially thought my cabin looked great. However, upon pulling back the blankets, I noticed the bottom sheet appeared to have been slept in, and the quilt was stained—one stain resembled blood. I contacted the night staff, who responded promptly and, with many apologies, changed all the bedding. They also cleaned some marks off the wall. The fan in the bedroom was dusty and could use a good cleaning. Additionally, the patchwork job on the wall beneath the window was not very neat—I'd say I could have done a better job myself. The underside of the table was disgusting, dried food and who only knows what stuck to it. The shower recess had orange stains and some mould, and around tap handles on basin, which a thorough cleaning with appropriate products could easily address. The following day, after getting no sleep due to back pain caused by a medical condition I requested a firmer bed. The staff had no problem at all and quickly moved me into another unit that offered a selection of beds for me to choose from. This was greatly appreciated and made a big difference in my comfort.

The second unit was suitable for my back, as one of the beds had a firmer mattress. However, there were some cleaning issues here as well. The main bed quilt had stains, dust was visible on the picture frames, and the dining table's seat material could benefit from a steam clean. The air conditioner remote didn’t work despite new batteries, so I had to operate it manually, and it was set to a high heat setting—comfortable at night, but less so during the day. Also, the cold water wasn’t running in the bathroom basin.

In both units, I found bugs in the light fixtures and dusty bathroom fans. The walls and doors had scuff marks that could easily be cleaned. Overall, both units could benefit from a thorough spring clean.

On a positive note, the park is securely fenced, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The units are well equipped and the park facilities are excellent for families and kids, and the pancake kiosk is a fantastic addition with delicious food. The reception staff were friendly, professional,...

This place is very disappointing. The facilities are complete but the service of some staff can only be described as poor. The old lady at the front desk was very impatient and would not provide you with useful information about the camp facilities. Because alice springs are sparsely populated, this is one of the few places to choose but it's unfriendly. At first we were very happy and friends recommended this camp, but the facts were very disappointing. We were not allowed to use any camp facilities after checking out even the toilet, and we were also framed and used one night camp facility. Do not understand why people here are full of hostility. The uncle who finally helped us refill gas was very good. This was the only service we received after check out. Don’t tell me that’s the normal way to do business, “once you check out, you are not our guest anymore”.

First of all, the so-called borrowing camp facilities only because we wanted to use the toilets, not other facilities such as the use of water or electricity. There are no utilities around this camp that are desolate and a few kilometers from the town centre. If people borrowing toilets in this situation are unfair to other paying guests, it may be that we don’t understand the way the camp owners do business. Secondly, the so-called unpaid nights and nights of the camp facilities, no matter how you explain, is a rude prejudice of your completely unprofessional front desk, which is not within the scope of reasonable assumptions. We parked at the camp gate only ten minutes and then has been told that couldn't stay there, and then a series of things happened. One more thing, just like the owner replied, ‘assume’ the car parked in the front gate for whole night, don’t your employees check front gate at night? No one on duty at night? The...
