Heritage Caravan Park is a hidden treasure! The park's serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings create the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The well-maintained facilities, spacious pitches, and friendly staff make for a delightful camping experience. Whether you're in a tent or a caravan, you'll feel right at home. The park's location is also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and stunning natural landscapes. The amenities, including clean showers and well-equipped communal areas, ensure a comfortable stay. The on-site activities, such as hiking trails and a swimming pool, provide endless entertainment for both adults and children. The park's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices is commendable. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and are always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Overall, Heritage Caravan Park offers a memorable and enjoyable camping experience that will leave you wanting to return again and again. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

Review of unpowered camp site: Plenty of room for people to spread out. Plenty of shade trees. Mostly bare earth with some patches of grass- this is an arid environment and that is normal for this bioregion! Camp kitchen is spacious and there is adequate room in fridges as well as a generous amount of seating provided, all under cover. Toilet facilities are regularly cleaned and maintained. Pool was not in operation as it is in cold season at time of review (rating not included for this reason). Review of cabins: clean and tidy with double bed, ensuite, fridge, microwave, kettle and a small kitchen sink. At this price point, I am confident this represents excellent value for money, having paid double that amount many times in similar locations across outback Western Australia, NT and outback QLD. Additional info: from memory there are 5 washing machines and two driers available $4 per load on machine and drier is $4 for 45 minutes (approximately). There are washing lines available, open air (no roof overhead), BYO pegs

Having never stayed in Alice Springs before, we chose to camp at Heritage and glad we did. To start with the managers Brad & Hannah are very welcoming and friendly and on a few occasions spoke with Brad about places to visit, locations and road conditions, thanks so much. We stayed for 4 days on a nice grassed site in front of the Camp kitchen, a nice spot. They have heaps of room for any traveller with good, grassed area with powered sites through to the Bush camping out the back and they also have some rooms for your stay. Throw in a pool and an off lead area as well for your pooch, by the way there were a few Dogs about and your nearly set. Had no issues with the amenities all tidy & cleaned daily and after exploring the West Macs it was great at days end to have a nice hot shower. The Camp kitchen has heaps of room, tables, chairs, hot plate, microwave and as we saw gets used daily. Overall this was a great place to base yourself and explore and will easily call in again when I travel through next time.

June 2018 - middle of winter cold showers unless you shower around 3pm, dont expect a hot or even warm shower at night or in the morning, maybe due to solar, sewerage seeping through on drive roads, unprofessional staff. After three months planning and excitedly relocating to central Australia to start our new family, Heritage owners and rude management left us without a place to live at 8+ months pregnant after driving 2000km from WA. Gave a different reason each time we asked why, none of which were reasonable or justified. Were asked for 300+ points of ID unlawfully then told income was not sufficient without giving a chance to provide our financial details. Absolutely disgusted and stressed out on maternity leave, partner commencing new job and about to camp in our caravan on the side of the high way in minus overnight temps with no power and heavily pregnant with every caravan park in town booked out nowhere to take our van, having done nothing wrong and awaiting legal and anti discrimination support with the entire town about to have show and festival. Unbelievable and incredibly confused as to our treatment and the rudeness. Who would do this to anyone? We have done nothing to instigate being treated so badly and were told to leave after six nights when expecting to stay long term. The height of insensitivy and arrogance. When question what on earth happened to the three months of planning to move here, were given absolute authority treatment - no head office has no time for you, no you can't know why, no we are not accountable to you, it is the way it is because we said so! Thanks for leaving me expecting anyday and on the street Heritage - welcome to...

We stayed for a month with the old Mangers who were friendly and fabulous and attentive to the parks visitors and facilities. Returned for a month with the new management, whom are there atm... and so much changed in such a small period of time. They were no longer attentive to the grounds and facilities and it showed. The kitchen was overrun with dead bugs and ants so you couldn't get to the sink. The mouse came out to clean up the mess that they weren't. The pool turned cloudy with hundreds of bugs within a week of the new managers. It was slimy and slippery on the bottom, once a delight on the hot summer days became a health hazard. The toilets were no longer looked after and people coming straight from the pool in them left trails of dirt throughout the showers and it stayed that way for days. Also the toilet paper and soap would run out without being replaced. The once green grass was getting drier n dustier day by day as the previous owners would water sections daily the new management didn't bother. Or if they did put a sprinkler on it was forgotten about and left in the same spot for days. The campers that were there for over two weeks were asked to leave. These people were friendly, clean and tidy and paying their rent. Surely during the quiet season you want campers on plots?? Apparently not under new management, they did not want to do any of the work previously undertaken by the previous managers. Very sad to see as this was an oasis of a caravan park in Alice Springs. We were delighted to stay there n enjoy its simple but clean n useful facilities. If you are looking for a friendly van park, this is...

AWFUL customer service and tried to keep my money that they said they would refund.

I had a canceled reservation, came in-person for my refund where my card information was taken down (which I found odd instead of tapping or inserting my card) and was told it would reflect on my bank account in 3-5 business days. 5 business days passed and still nothing. Came back to ask for a receipt of proof of the refund transaction as no receipt had been given to me when I first came. I was told they would email it to me that evening, 3 days later still no email. Came back in-person again to ask for a hard copy of refund transaction where I was finally given one and could see that the refund was done 3 days before when I came in asking for proof, meaning the first time I came in they did not do the refund but simply made it seem like they were by taking down my card information, probably thinking we’d be leaving Alice Springs and not be able to come back to ask questions in-person so they could easily ignore your phone calls as they did with mine when I called asking about my email with the receipt.

Spend your money somewhere else where you can actually trust a business to follow through in their word when they say they’re going to do something.

You would think with times like these they would want to make sure they’re doing right by their customers for their own...
